the hotel was full of dust, they didn’t had hair blower, the fridge wasnt working. The aircon cant handle the afternoon heat. The saddest part is that the hotel closes at 11:30pm and you can’t go back or go out at that time

The staff/owner were really good. They speak english and can help you when you need something. The hotel owner also lets me come back even tho it was late

Before arrival I was asked when I will arrive and when I will check out the next day. At arrival the first topic was, that the hotel will be closed at night and that I cannot stay if I plan to go out longer then 12. I never planned to stay out long and totally understand the rule, but the constant focus on times didn't make me feel welcome. I had booked a room with balcony with nice view on the pictures. When I arrived it turned out that the pictures where from another room at the highest floor and my balcony and window were facing a concrete wall. When I reacted a bit disappointed the owners straight away told me to go to another hotel. In the end I could change for another room which was 5$ more expensive, but brighter.

The room facing the street was nice and bright. The price is okay compared to other hotels in the area. It has an elevator and is near to the river.

For $20, I think it's a good option if there wasn't already dust on the balcony railing.

The hotel is very well located and this is its main advantage. The owner is polite and punctual. At our request, they gave us an electric kettle and printed a small document - completely free of charge. The room was quite clean, Wi-Fi was weak in the evenings, but good during the day. Our room had a balcony overlooking the wall of the neighboring house, which can be reached by hand. From this house, children's screams and other sounds of hectic life were sometimes heard. The property is in a great location right by the royal palace. The room was very clean and fresh. The host is brilliant and helpful, explaining about the local neighbourhood and giving tips.

The noise daily from around 6.39 am. The noise from the lift each time it stopped at a floor, which woke me up every morning as I am a light sleeper. Same noise as you enter 7 Eleven !!

Location. Towels changed daily. Water daily. The owners were very helpful and pleasant. The room was clean. Lift.

The room was a bit dark and noisy (mostly from the next-door bar). Although really close to the main sights, I didn't like Riverside area too much: many loud tourist-oriented bars, over expensive and boring eating options, and far too many girls-bars and dodgy massage parlours (can be a bit too much of you are a male solo traveller, girls don't stop shouting at you while you walk the streets). But if you are happy in Riverside the Blue Sky location is excellent.

Sincerely welcoming and family-run. The room was clean and comfortable.

The owners, two brothers, were very friendly and helpfull. They gave us some tips about the neighborhood and let us print some documents that we needed for a visa application. Furthermore, the room was spacious and comfortable. Great value for money.

Everything was perfect.

I loved my stay in the Blue Sky Guest House. The staffs were so professional and friendly. They made me feel at home at a new city in a new Country where I was travelling alone. They informed be about all the precautions I needed to take while in Phnom Pehn as well as gave me great suggestions regarding restaurants, sightseeing and all. I loved my three weeks stay in Phnom Penh and the staff in the Guest House played a significant role in making my stay so welcoming. I will definitely stay with them again when I visit Phnom Penh in future and would recommend everyone to stay in this safe, secure house.

The aircon shuts off when you leave. Or, someone comes in and shuts it off. So the room gets warm when you're gone.

Location is prime! Very close to most things. They have an elevator, which is super convenient with large backpacks. Room was spacious and they gave us water and clean towels everyday. Staff was extremely helpful and always had someone in the lobby (made it feel more secure).

It is uncomfortable to call all the time the ringbell when you like to enter the place diring the night since there is no receptionist 24/7.
