Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ArgentinaThe mattress was not comfortable and the room smelt like if it wasn’t open in a while. However, it is enough for a couple of days in siem reap.
Great location, short walking from the pub street and the night market It does have a swimming pool which is useful in Siem Reap, at least in September haha Staff friendly and helpful. Reception 24/7.

GermanyThe Blossoming Romduol Boutique is a simple hotel with simple amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. At breakfast you could choose one between different calibrated ones. That was delicious. The location is very good as you can walk in 5 minutes at night market or pub street. There are also many offers around. I can't say anything about the pool because I didn't use it.

FranceThere are no curtains for beds, no intimacy.
It was a mix dorm. Good aircon, not strong. And the fan was a plus if you need more fresh air. The balcony was great. I think it's important to say there was an electric kettle (because when I checked the equipment of the others hostels, most of the time there isn't the kettle on the table), so I was so happy to make my tea every night before sleeping. The swimming pool was so cool with jacuzzi included. Bravo. Near of everything but not of Angkor temples (easy access with bicycle, bike, or tuk tuk). You can book tours also. Breakfast was included, simple and fresh. The staff was nice and always smiling. They take care of you and help you if you need. Thank you 😊

Czech RepublicWe have spent more than 3 weeks at the hotel. The staff is superfriendly. The pool is amazing and big. You can really swim there. Location is close to local markets and also night food markets. The bathroom was little bit small but for that price it's really good deal.

United KingdomOnly fault is the shower facing into the middle of the bathroom! Also maybe curtains on the dorm beds for some privacy would be nice.
Great value for money, food opposite the entrance was of a really good standard. Reception welcomed me with a drink and cold towel (much appreciated due to the humidity!)

UkraineMediocre breakfast (without meat) with additional fruits and coffee or tea. But it is justified by the price. So, don’t expect a lot and just check how it looks on google maps reviews.
The best value for money. They have dormitory with private bathroom and balcony. Toilettes, towels and locker are provided without additional save deposit. Free water refill. Great swimming pool with basketball hoop. They clean it up every day. Free city bicycles. Staff very friendly. They can pack your breakfast if you have early check out or going to Angkor Wat.

United KingdomThe rooms were a little dated but clean and maybe table and chairs on the balcony rather than a few stools.
We weren't happy with the first room we got as it was top floor, very dated and looked out onto the neighbours junk yard but the staff were lovely and moved us to a lower floor with a room with a pool view which was much better. The staff are lovely and friendly and so helpful. The pool area is quiet and there is a bar/cafe. Breakfast is a choice of the same 4 or 5 things every day which are all tasty with tea or coffee and fresh fruit.

Bed, bottled water, swimming pool/hot tub, and breakfast with chose of 5 items/all with coffee or tea/fruit for $4.50, insane….

United KingdomAs mentioned, air con could have been a bit better, but I think this is because when you take the key out it turns off so you don’t get the feeling of returning to a cool room. A very minor gripe so don’t let this influence your decision of whether to stay.
We had a lovely stay here. Staff were very helpful, let us check in after we arrived on the night bus at 7am, which was so nice. Helpful in arranging our tuktuk tour of Angkor wat at a good price, and provided a packed breakfast for us to take as we left early for sunrise. Room was spacious and clean. Air con was not the best we have had but definitely good enough. Pool area was nice and the breakfast, though basic, was good quality. Walking distance from lots of good restaurants and pub street. A great stay ay a cheap price.

SlovakiaYou have to be hurry for the breakfast, you might not get them if you dont go early. We got just slice of tomato and one small roll. The others also..Next day we came early (when they opened) and we could choose - got eggs, It was ok then :)
Jacuzzi, pool and bar were excellent. Also the sitting there. Rooms are ok., with all you need (climate, shower, toilet, fridge). Close to the main attractions of the city.

TurkeyThe bathroom was not well maintained. Beds were not comfortable at all. However keep in mind you get what you pay for. It was ok for a night but for more I wouldn't love to stay there.
The pool area, balcony and terrace are all great to chill around. Staff is nice and helpful. The air conditioner worked well. Breakfast had options to choose from and were prepared freshly to order.

United KingdomThe water in the bathroom didn’t drain very well, which isn’t ideal in a wet room. The white walls next to the beds were pretty grubby, could do with a good clean or a lick of paint.
Super friendly staff, super quick food/drink service. The staff on reception are very willing to help you and gave us a cold bottle of water when we left for our journey. The pool was great and although there wasn’t many sunbeds, it never seemed to be an issue. The location is great for restaurants and bars in town, particularly pub street. Our room was totally silent during the night and morning, which has not been the case in most places we’ve stayed in SE Asia!
