We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe meals were delicious. Service was always impeccable. We were greeted warmly each morning and every time we returned to the hotel. The staff is attentive, warm and welcoming. We especially want to thank Eri for going out of her way to communicate with us in English. We look forward to returning to Tsuyama and will stay at the Shiroyama.

SingaporeSpent one night here in a room with the private onsen and we absolutely loved it! The room was super spacious with a nice living room and a couch and there were 2 TVs in total. The beds were really comfy and the room was super clean. Very warm and well curated interiors that made our stay special. The private onsen was an absolute delight too! Breakfast was also pretty enjoyable and we sat at an area overlooking the outdoor garden. We only wish we had more time here!

JapanThe breakfast procedure with all the COVID plastic is completely overdone and is not making a pleasant atmosphere at all. After a nice stay this is not how you want to end it.
Very nice and cosy hotel with friendly staff in a good location. The wellness area of the hotel is very nice and offers a great view on the castle.
