We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesNothing ... it is an old hotel like the rest in the area, part of the charms of Shiga Kogen.
It was a truly pleasant stay at Shirakabaso Kogen. Take san welcomed me right away! From the service, room, meals and staffs at the dining and breakfast room was always nice and kind for a solo traveller like me. Naoko san, Saiki san Yama san and Kiku san, some that I could get names of.

The service was incredible, from the time we booked to the last goodbye. It was our first time in Japan and for most of us, our first time skiing. Naoko helped us with absolutely everything, booking extra space for our friends, booking the right tickets for ski lifts, guiding us where to go, looking for ski school, renting gear and equipment, taking buses, you name it! Always so kind and calm! Everyone in the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. The place is really clean and like a home! You can pretty much ski from the hotel car park! Food was beautiful and it was just so nice to relax in the Onsen after a day of ski and before a feast! Not worrying about restaurants, with 4 teenagers, all we did at night was enjoy their company playing ping pong, cards and chatting about the day! We couldn’t feel more comfortable or welcome!

Beautiful location up in the mountains and near slopes, really nice and accommodating staff, great onsen - including small, private onsen options for the shy or prudish:). Enjoyed the traditional food as well.

Netherlandsthe hotel is in a small ski resort and has an agreeably old-fashioned feel about it. The staff werw extremely vriendly and helpful. The hotel offered a good breakfast and an elaborate dinner. It has an "onsen", a hot mineral bath, outdoor.

SingaporeLimited facilities around the hotel. A private transport would be essential if you did not opt for the breakfast and dinner option.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Accomodation is not ski in / ski out but a walk (upslope) about 5-10 mins, there is a gondola station.
