Small, water is cold, no heat, no towels. The main light wouldn't turn on most of the time.

Very small much smaller than advertised. It is basically one tiny room with three single beds and a tiny bathroom. Landlord contacted me on the morning of our first day to advise that he had double booked and the accommodation would not be available. He offered an alternative which had terrible ratings and in a poor area. So we had to book alternative accommodation ourselves for first two nights The description claimed there was a hot tub and a TV. There was neither

    Nothing

Firstly, the listing said there was a hot tub. There was no tub. Not that it would have mattered as the unit only has approximately 5 minutes of hot water. I ended up relying on a nearby love hotel for all my basic hygiene, at great expense. Secondly the listing says there is wifi. There is not. The SSID the owner tells you to connect to in your instructional email is nowhere to be found and there is no access point / router within the unit. Third is the noise. Despite being 7 stories up in the air, the unit has single pane windows that are not insulated against temperature or noise, so you will hear every car, every siren, everything. The unit is a fairly decent size by Tokyo apartment standards, but between the mold and mildew in the bathroom and the blatant refusal to modernize the windows so you can actually get some sleep in the unit; it's clear that the owner just wants to slumlord this property like an Airbnb. And good luck getting in touch with the owner as they seem to live in mainland China and use the unit just as an income property. Lastly is the location. It is somehow not very convenient to anything. The closest convenience was a coin laundry. But any good bars, restaurants, or shops are at least a 10 minute walk away. Even Tokyo's "a konbini on every corner" approach to convenience stores is strangely absent for an approximately 10 minute walk in all directions.
