The house had absolutely everything we needed, super fast WiFi 200mb/s down 100mb/s up, all the facilities we needed such as iron, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen with a fridge freezer, lots of space and a super cool samurai in the hallway! The host was extremely friendly and even offered to taxi us if we needed during our stay, very lovely place to stay I would highly recommend for anyone stopping in Nagoya.

SingaporeNothing. The host really puts in effort to care for her guests and everything is spotless. She responds very quickly to any queries. Although we were worried about the location at first, taking a subway train from Nagoya station to Taiko Dori station proved to be a breeze.
Extremely clean and modern house, separate washing machine and clothes dryer, Dyson hairdryer and Nintendo for kids! Host was very caring and explained how to use everything. Yaoki supermarket nearby makes it very convenient to shop for fruits and groceries. Super comfortable beds and indoor floor heating too. We were so sad to leave this house!

Well furnished and everything is still in a pristine condition. Heaters provided in living room, bathroom and all bedrooms... Very clean as well... Good facilities with toaster, microwave oven, kettle, cutlery, washing machine, dryer, towels and hangers provided..

Singaporewalking to n fro nagoya station with kids n luggage is quite a big task. taking subway w the stairs too is tough. happy Mikiko helped us to book a big taxi to nagoya meitetsu where we could take the train to airport.
As per the pictures 👍 A nice change from hotels. We travelled w extended family, so here it’s nice cos we have our own space yet have a place to gather. gave us a chance to set up our own breakfast the way we like it too!

AustraliaThere are only a couple of things missing that would make the house almost perfect- a coffee machine and access to English Channels on the TV (although we made do with YouTube).
We stayed 4 nights at Samurai House II and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The house is very well equipped and has everything you need. The owner Mikiko is very kind and welcoming and happy to provide information and recommendations for restaurants and local sights. The house is about a 15 minute walk to Nagoya Station and there is also a metro station close by at the top of the street. There are some good restaurants within easy walking distance of the house (a well known noodle restaurant and an excellent sushi restaurant were particularly good). The house has a compact combined open space living room and kitchen with separate bathroom and toilet on the ground floor (the bathroom also includes a washing machine and clothes dryer). Upstairs has a main bedroom, tatami room and additional toilet. The kitchen has tableware, microwave, oven/toaster and small refrigerator. Laundry detergent, kitchen detergent, shampoo rinse, body soap, towels, toothbrush, instant coffee and tea are all kindly provided. The Wi-Fi is good and high-speed. I can highly recommend Samurai House II and would definitely want to stay again when I come to Nagoya.
