Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

IrelandFantastic hotel. Great location with a train station at your front door so very easy to access other areas of Tokyo. A Family Mart right outside the door which is handy. Room is quite large and spacious compared to other 4 star hotels in Tokyo. Very comfortable and very clean. Good amenities given which is a nice touch. Laundry service for doing laundry is great. Would stay here again. Direct train from station outside hotel to Haneda airport - which only takes 28 minutes - which was a factor in why we choose this hotel to stay in to end our trip in Tokyo. But it was one of our favourite hotels from our trip to Japan.

The location is great, close to ginza and shopping places. Complimentary stuff for my birthday so that was really appreciated! The room upgrade was worth it too

A very classy hotel with excellent breakfast buffet and great location to minor and major rail hubs, convenience store and a few places to eat in the immediate area and many places to eat just a few blocks walk just past Shimbashi Station.

The location is really convenient. It is right next to Shimbashi station as well as Shiodome station. Walking distance to Ginza as well. There is also a family mart downstairs which makes it really convenient if you arrive late and need some food.

The front desk staff is very helpful with my luggage as i have a lot with me this trip. supporting me o get a large taxi in a short time which is very helpful.

United KingdomWe loved the views. Both from our room and the bar. The hotel due to its type and area was pricy, however we were pleased with our experience. The view of the Tokyo skyline and trains passing by was beautiful. My partner and I admired the day, sunset and night skies; one morning we were fortunate enough to see Mt Fuji in the distance! The location is very close to the Shinbashi station, from where you can transverse Tokyo with ease. It was perfect.

FinlandI would not recommend the macrobiotic cafe on the 1st floor for breakfast. They barely have a buffet and you can order 2 pieces pancakes or a small toast. Not a good value for your money.
Great location close to Ginza and train station. Good breakfast buffet with a nice view on Tokyo Tower. Very attentionate personel. We forgot a small shopping bar in the lounge and they gave it to us next morning when checking out.
