The facilities were great. The room was large enough for a family of 3. The location was central with a short 10-minute walk to the fukushima train line and less than 5 minutes to local restaurants tucked away in little alley ways.

Rihga Royal Hotel was well connected with Osaka Station with regular bus service from Hotel to Station. The rooms were clear and also the staff was very helping. The best part was availability of international currency exchange which my colleagues used.

Small room for 3 adults, better for 2. Can't adjust room temperature, only choose fan speed; low, mid, high. But cool enough while sleeping.

Frequent shuttle service to and from JR Osaka station in every 5-10 minutes 5am-10pm. This bed room type comes with 2 bathroom; one is Toilet with shower and another one comes with bath tube with shower.

room location was perfect, our two rooms were next to each other and close to ice machine and elevator. hotel shuttle going to and from osaka station and universal studios was added bonus. hotel was walking distance to scenic jogging path, eating places, family mart and 7eleven store. hand sanitizer stations throughout the hotel was convenient. room service and front desk people were very courteous and helpful. your hotel granted our request to stay in same room after our group tour departed saving us the trouble of checking out and checking in again after our universal studios visit. thank you.

Bit outdated hotel for a 5 star rating. We asked for a double bed however only to single bed was given. It’s a bit far from everything, at night it took us 20 minutes walk from the nearest metro to reach the hotel. Checkin and out is messy.

Definitely the shuttle was the best part that take you to the hotel from Osaka Station. Room was spacious compared to other hotels we stayed at.

Very spacious room with exceptionally comfortable beds and amazing view over the river. Loved the 25m pool but too many rules about lane etiquette considering most people weren’t swimming but walking up & down. Why didn’t they do their exercises in the Shape pool?

1) The reception staffs took too much priority on European customers. Wasted a lot of time entertaining them. The rest of the customers were having a long que waiting for their turn. 2)The room air-conditioning system was very poor, we adjusted to maximum speed, but temperature is not cold.

The Bell Captain manager was very efficient to make reservation for taxi reservation for us to catch the early flight. You should have more of this type of staff's attitude in the front line.

Not as many English speaking staff other than at reception and concierge. TV was all written in Japanese even their main page to explain hotel facilities. I believe they have about 4-5 shuttle buses which runs every 6 mins. There’s only 1 bus that has a slope to get on/off. It was slightly inconvenient travelling with a wheeelchair user and a double baby stroller. But please don’t be put off staying at this property. Staff and drivers are helpful. We will be definitely back!

The hotel is in the center of Osaka. It has free shuttle bus to Osaka station and back every 6mins. Room service sterilises baby bottles FOC. The building is very old for a 5 star hotel but looking forward to visit again after their renovation in 2025.

Location. PILLOW NEEDS UPGRADES. Its feather cheap and shallow and compresses easily. Incomfortable sleep. Ended up having neck pain.

Our non-smoking room have a bit of smell (like with the smoking room). They provided air freshener but it doesn’t eliminate the smell. It was tolerable though since we just spend one night there. Also the fitness gym is not included for free facilities and the charge is pricey.

I love our stay here!! So excited to leave this review because I really believe that they are a bit underrated. This hotel is so kid-friendly (rare to find in hotels in japan). I love the fact that they also provide amenities for our toddler (from sleeping wear up to hygiene kit). Our room is located in natural comfort floors that’s why the pool club (1 lap pool, 1 leisure/spa pool with shallow part for kids and 1 jacuzzi..which we really enjoyed) and lounge area (with free yummy snacks) are free of charge. So worth the price!! I just hope that the use of fitness gym was also included as a free facility. It would be perfect! The breakfast buffet was good..lots of varieties, but some dishes are a bit bland. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Our room was big enough, also the bathroom. Staffs are friendly, accommodating and good with english.
