We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The street is easy to find, as is the storefront in the Booking.com picture, however the accommodation itself is on the opposite side of the street in a larger facility, with the reception office set back in a small alley. Led to a little confusion on our arrival.
Location is perfect, and the front desk staff very helpful and attentive. Room was large, comfortable and with good facilities, could stay here comfortably for a week.

United StatesThe small sofa in the room was a bit flimsy for sitting or luggage, so kind of pointless. A bench, low table or proper sofa would be more useful.. i liked the baking smells in room 204, but my wife did not like it very much, too buttery and sweet. In room 204, you can easily hear people in the bakery/breakfast room working and talking. It was not a problem for us because we were up and packing when breakfast was served, but i could clearly hear people working in the bakery in the evening and early morning even though they were not making a lot of noise. So, i think it is worth mentioning to the management. Finally, because i told the staff my concern about noise when i first arrived, they offered me a room on the first floor. I did not take it, however, because it had a strong musty/moldy smell. The second floor room they had booked me in was much fresher.
Great central location among the streets of the pretty old town. Our room was very neat and clean with hardwood floors, so it was easy to relax. Our room was over the bakery, so there was a nice faint smell of cake and bread baking.

JapanThis is only our room but the room we were given had a moldy smell. To the point that I started to have a headache. I thought it was due to air circulation but after having the windows open for half the day it still didnt resolve it. I ended up having a headache because of it and had to ask to be placed in a different room for our 2nd night. The hotel seemed to know that this problem existed but did not communicate proactively and took our reservation regardless. I'm happy they were able to change the room for us for the 2nd night which resolved the issue but it was unfortunate that we did not feel comfortable on the 1st night.
The location was great and definitely a great value for money. Free drinks and little snacks on the house as welcome gifts. The room was spacious and the bathroom was also very clean and nice. The staff were so nice and friendly!!
