Need to walk up a flight stairs to the lobby. A little challenging if you have heavy luggages. Need to pay 700 yen for parking.

Clean and comforting room. Coffee, tea and instant noodles provided in common area.

The room showed a bit of wear and the shower head would always lean towards the wall. I had to hold it and point it directly towards me while showering. Not ideal.

The location is amazing. It is a bit far away from Kumamoto station but you're about a 10 minute walk away from the city center. The room was nice and quiet.

I really loved the style of the hotel, the japanese style bedroom and the view from my window (a small terrace with plants). Staff really skilled.

The bathroom in the single room was quite small. I would usually leave the door open to not feel too closed in. The shower curtain also did not completely close so I had to find a way to make sure water didn’t spray over the sink.

The stay was really great. Within walking distance to lots of good restaurants. The staff were all very friendly & helpful, especially with organizing a parking space. Really loved the provided instant ramen as a quick snack through the day. The western bed was comfortable, if not a little bit firm with a thin mattress covering (I could feel the springs under me). Great for a solo traveler!

The bathroom is extremely small and also oldfashioned.

Good location just across the river from the city center. Within 5-10 minutes walking you are in the shopping street. - The room itself is relatively spacious.It comes with an arm chair, a fridge and a hair dryer but no kettle. You can ask for a kettle at the front desk. - There are a couple of restaurants in the immediate area, most are in the city center though. - The staff was very friendly and helpful. - Private parking is offered at a fee. - The value you get is excellent.

The location was perfect. The staff made a very nice design map with restaurants for dinner and another one for breakfast places. Resters had a parking spot. It was a beautiful designed guesthouse.

In my second stay the bathroom and toilet facilities were more compact and squishy, which made it a bit more clumsy to use, not a big negative.

This was the second time I stayed on the same trip. The room was comfortable and spacious for 1 and had all I needed. I continued to enjoy a nice cup of matcha tea at the end of the day in the common space. Parking is easy and convenient, staff are sweet and friendly

The bathroom is really small... water pressure is not very strong. Acceptable anyway as the room price is really low!

The room is small but there's a window in every room so it's bright enough. It is also pretty clean. There are free coffee and tea in the lounge, and you can borrow an electronic kettle to enjoy hot drinks inside the room.

Good location with less than 10 min walk to the shopping street and able to walk to Kumamoto castle. Also they have common area for us to relaxing, eating with some accommodations.

The bathroom could be slightly tight, but very functional and well-designed for a tiny space!

The staff were welcoming, polite and helpful. The facilities were functional and they had got what adult travellers need. It was actually so cool to see a jar of instant noodles at the cafe area! :D

Around 15-20 minutes tram from Kumamoto Station, and its a bit awkward to use the tram with large suitcase. The bathroom is a bit small with not much space to place your own sanitary items. No television at room.

Comfy bed and interior design at both room and common area. Though not bad, the room is large enough to place suitcase. Close to shimotori shintengai, which have a lot of shops and restaurants.

The staff went above and beyond even before I got to the door. I love the simplicity of the rooms and the facility overall. Very awesome little breakfast offerings to start your day.

No kettle in the room. Have to go down to ground floor communal area to refill hot water. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever come across in Japan despite a much bigger room space. The bed and pillows could also be more comfortable.

Staff was kind enough to help us carry our luggage over a flight of stairs to get to the hotel lobby. Reception even showed us how to unlock the hotel room door.
