Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicIf you choose the breakfast included option you'll just get star bucks vouchers as the hotel has no restaurant. This information should be written here on site. Otherwise I was completely satisfied with the quality of service.
The hotel is very nice and clean, my room was smallish but I found it enough. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. There is unlimited tea and coffee at the reception. The location is convenient but not too crowded.

AustraliaWe stayed there twice on our recent Japan trip. Spacious room. Good location near Daimon and Hamamatsokchu stations (ideal for Haneda airport monorail). Plenty of restauarants and bars in the area. Near to Tokyo tower. Helpful staff.

JapanI didn't mind paying extra for the breakfast for which I pre-paid, but it is borderline annoying. Starbuck's doesn't really serve a decent breakfast, so the whole thing seems like a bad business decision.
There was a Starbucks certificate given to those who had pre-paid for breakfast. US$6.00 was not enough to pay for my breakfast of warm orange juice granola-yogurt parfait, muffin and coffee. I didn't really mind, and the latte with an extra shot was delicious.

United StatesNo breakfast but ¥3600 worth of Starbucks cards were great, since the Starbucks is located below the hotel building.
The property is small but clean. The location was great. Daimon is the main train station that can connect to pretty much anywhere in Tokyo. Airport to the hotel was a non-stop, no transfer. Train station to the hotel is a 5-minute walking distance. Lots of local restaurants that you can choose from.

Clean and well maintained hotel with very helpful staff in a very nice location with very good metro connection and walking distance to a lot of places. It was our forth time in Tokyo, but first in that area and we really liked it.

United KingdomThe staff could have been a bit more helpful, but I guess I could have learned a bit more Japanese. It was an excellent hotel for the price and I would certainly recommend it for anyone who wants to be sort of central in Tokyo. You aren't really near much that it on the tourist trail but, on the other hand, you are very near the metro and in an excellent location to get reasonably quickly to many parts of the city. We were later in Asakusa, which is great for Asakusa but was much farther for other bits of Tokyo that we wanted to see.
The hotel was very convenient for transport - especially for Haneda airport but also a good, central location for exploring Tokyo. The free coffee in the lobby was nice.

United StatesThe room was quite cramped, but they managed to make the rooms as accommodating as possible. This isn't uncommon for Tokyo, but getting in and out of the front door, morning and evening bathroom routines among other things were a bit challenging for the two of us - nothing to complain about, but worth noting for someone who might be a bit less mobile than two 30-somethings that love to travel, hike, and adventure.
We found this hotel on our first visit to Japan in September of 2023. When my wife and I returned in April of 2024 we decided to stay here our first night to be both close to Tokyo Tower for a morning walk, and also for the general convenience of being in Minato. The hotel was clean, staff was excellent (this comes as no surprise given we're talking about Japanese hospitality), and overall the hotel was a nice, comfortable stay. The only ding is due to the size of the room. It was a bit cramped for my wife and I to navigate around with 2 large rolling bags, but we managed. Still, this is somewhat commonplace in Tokyo, where real estate is at a premium. We would happily stay here again!

JapanI guess they can't make the prices lower or the room bigger, but it is in an exciting part of town, that's for sure. We will return because the urology clinic is just across the street.
The breakfast was at the Starbuck's coffee shop within the hotel and it was notable for the good coffee and the possibility of making do with the Starbuck's menu at breakfast-time. I ate chicken and waffles. The bedroom was typically tiny and the price was high, but the location was superb.

AustraliaThe damp smell of towels. They look new and clean but smell unpleasant.
Nice cosy room spacious enough for 2 people. Good location, just a short walk from Daimon metro and Hamamatsucho station, where there is a short direct monorail to Haneda airport. The surrounding neighborhood is bustling with restaurants but still quiet.
