The bed & breakfast isn't walking distance from any beaches because of traffic the streets are busy so you may have to get Mr. Clive driver to take you where you need to go and he does charge a fee to transport you to and from your destinations, You will love his driver..He knows how to take you to all the sites and he will give you a tour of Montego Bay. I promise you will not be disappointed🖤🖤

I love how the bed & breakfast was secluded and private and also they have a breakfast, lunch, dinner menu served there for their guests and they have a private cook who will cook whatever you want that they have provided on their menu...The pool area was very inviting and cozy and clean...Our room had a Bluetooth speaker inside the wall where we could play our music off our phones...If you love privacy and not a big crowd of ppl this would definitely be the place to have as your stay🖤💕🙏💕

The beds were a little firmer than I usually prefer, but they were fine. Other than that, not much to complain about here.

Our stay, although very brief, was perfect at the Blue Orchid. We had a late night arrival into the Airport and did not want to have to travel late at night to our resort so we chose to stay one night at the Blue Orchid. The owner/manager was highly communicative during the booking process and confirmed for us that the driver and security would stay late to help us get to the hotel. Even when our flight arrived two hours late - past midnight, we were able to connect with them and they sent a driver to pick us up. The B&B is only a couple of minutes from the hotel, and they had our keys ready and we were already checked in so after an exhausting day of travel we were in our room less than 10 minuts after we left the airport and literally seconds after arriving at the property. The room was air-conditioned and clean and the furniture was good. The room was smaller than a typical hotel room by American standards, but it was plenty of room for a night and we were able to open our bags and get to our things easily. I'd like to say more, but we were in the room for 8 hours and 7 1/2 of them we were asleep. :) We stayed for breakfast in the AM and my family enjoyed some simple eggs and bacon and my wife had an omelette, all of which were very good. I opted for the Jamaican breakfast which was a tradition egg dish with fish. Sort of a "seaside" scramble, with some dumplings and it was very good. I would recommend it. The staff was terrific in the morning ensuring we were taken care of and got us a ride to our Resort the next day. Overall, a terrific experience. We were concerned a little about arriving late to the airport and staying in town, but all of those concerns were unfounded. If you have a late flight into Sangster or an early flight out in the morning, I would book the Blue Orchid without hesitation. It's less than a half a mile to the airport and it was the easiest thing to do.

We had a late flight in. I like that Mr. Clive made a commitment to wait up for my daughters and I. He arranged with Mr. Mike to pick us up. We slept well. Mr. Mike waited for us the next morning. Breakfast was ok.

I picked this hotel as I had to catch the Knutsford express the next morning to go to aport Antonio. They didn't have a chef/ cook during my stay, as she hurt herself whilst cooking Having a stand in chef would have been nice. I had to take a $40 taxi to going town for my dinner, so it kind of blew my budget and defeated the whole purpose of staying and eating within the premises. As a solo female traveler, there's a rough bunch our there and I understand people are impoverished here, do it was a case of fendng off unwarranted male energy. All in all, if they didn't have a kitchen, I wouldn't stay there

I was a little disappointed that we could not get a late checkout, I was willing to pay the charges but was told the place was very busy and booked, so just have to understand that policy. I travelled for work with my spouse and wanted him to relax in the room until I completed work, so he ended up having to come awork with me. Sugar at the tea station in the room would be a plus for local guests. A a minor thing was that the ceiling fan and the light in the ceiling fan had one switch, so it meant that each time the fan is on the light is also on, not all guests love the AC units.

The Blue Orchid was a very good stay, it was conveniently located to the town, airport and the area where I had to go to work. The room was clean, had a coffee station, hairdryer, fridge, microwave. The bathroom had a LED mirror with bluetooth that you could play music from, it was relaxing while showering. The young gentleman who welcomed us at the front desk was nice, and the senior staff that escorted us to our room ensured we were satisfied with the room itself. The lovely female staff who prepared our complimentary continental breakfast was pleasant. All in all a great experience.

I appreciated the location close to the airport Staff extremely friendly My flight was delayed approx 4 hrs from Canada, Davion ensure I was picked up ASAP by Hawes (security). This made me feel valued. Both Davion and Hawes ensured my arrival and check in at the Blue Orchid was satisfactory. Housekeeping staff Simone and Delva check in on me regularly. I met the other security personnel Philip on my final night, he frequently asked if I was doing well and needed any assistance. I observed Philip frequently walking around the property to ensure safety for all on the property.
