United StatesWe were unlucky to face Beryl hurricane while staying at Jamaica Inn. The staff was super helpful and they did their best to make all guests feel safe and comfortable, however electricity and connectivity disruptions were annoying. Though the weather conditions is not something under the property control overall the related limitation we faced during our stay downgrade the overall rating which could be excellent without those limitations

United KingdomLimited food menu. Can be a little expensive. Room Service charge is high, considering what the locals are paid the costs charged do not reflect wages. Hotel uses a private taxi firm which charges about 1000% over the standard taxi fair charge. I think the rate should be transparent. Fixed charges should be agreed in advance. I felt as I was robbed. I paid $30.00 for a 3 min taxi ride!!
The resort is well presented, beach is beautiful, staff are friendly and alot of fun. Very private and live band in the evening was very good.

The entire facility is very well designed with a number of places to spend time, multiple environments for dining, and plenty of activities both and off site. It never feels like the resort is packed. It is a quiet and very relaxing environment, and trends towards an older clientele, but if that's what you're seeking - it's the perfect option.

United StatesDue to the age of the property there were items in my room and bathroom that were not up to the quality I had paid for, Water pressure in the shower was very low. Also sink faucet dripped and they were unable to fix it, and the left handle was tough to turn. Overhead fan was great but only worked on one speed and was a bit noisy. I was given complimentary continental breakfast with my stay and they forgot me one morning. My room was also located over the are where the staff gathered and a few times it was noisy.
Lovely property with an excellent staff. Staff exceptional - always smiling!! Food quality was top notch. What I did like was the old world charm and sophistication of the Inn. Beautiful location and grounds. Excellent beach access and amenities. Owner was on premises everyday with his puppy which was a delight.

The staff were the heart and soul of the hotel. Friendly and helpful with selling you things at every occasion. Especially the beach team who not only look after it for all the guests, but the turtles who choose to lay their eggs there.

CanadaNot being American, our dollar exchange was low in comparison, which made the purchase of anything at the Inn extra expense. We found it frustrating to go to Jamaica and have to convert everything to US currency while knowing the cost of the products in Jamaica.
Everything and everyone was fantastic! The Inn was exceptional. A quant Inn with a very personable staff that constantly went out of their way to please its guests. Breakfast every morning at our room was an absolute pleasure. So relaxing to have your order delivered to our outdoor living area. This outdoor living area was a highlight for us. With no TV, we were able to enjoy each other's company with great conversation, a game of cards, or just reading a good book. Food and drinks were always 5/5. Snorkeling was the best there is to offer. There is no need to leave the property as you would not see any better aquatic life. We were fortunate enough to be able to witness two turtle nest hatchings, again on the Inn's private beach. The Inn offers several different tours on the property with different themes as well as a weekly movie night, galla dinner, and several other offerings. We were able to hire a boat from the property to take us to Dunn's River Falls privately, which was an amazing way to travel to be able to view the coast from a different vantage point.
