I think the maintenance of rooms and equipment - e.g. of the snorkeling gear, tennis racquets and courts, room lights and plugs and furniture - would make take this accomodation to a complete resort vibe. Only thing that was lacking was the maintenance of pretty decent facilities

I think the staff at the resort are very sincere and are a compliment to the facility in general. This is quite an under rated resort like hotel with a pretty good kitchen and a nice pool and includes most facilities you could wish for and with GREAT views

The noise from the local bar/club beside the hotel. If it's peace and quiet you're after or a good sleep, I would have to advise against staying here. No fault of the hotel.

We usually stay in the small suite bit it was not available. Our room was described by the check in clerk as "lower standard". The room itself was nice, plenty of space and room to hang clothes, drawers , nice patio. However the bathroom had one tiny bar of soap, no shampoo, lotion or wash cloths. When I called for wash cloths I was told that room does not come with that amenity but if I wanted they could bring some to the room. I asked for them and then had to call a second to time. That surprised me based on my past stays.i reported my disappointment to the front desk at check out but didn't get the impression that any changes would occur.

Hibiscus is a very nice facility, our go to place in Ocho Rios. You can't beat the location and views from all over the property.

Not the fault of the property but both nights we were there there was loud music until the early hours from somewhere close by. I recommend earplugs for those who are light-medium sleepers

Room was very clean and had lovely sea / pool view. hotel gardens were very nice and it was possible to snorkel from the property. WiFi was good and parking was secure. Breakfast was very good.

The bathroom is a bit small, insufficient ammount of toiletries, however the shower is good. There's a discotheque close to the hotel with very, very loud music untill 04:00am daily which might give you restless nights. The discotheque doesn't belong to the hotel but is somewhere close to it. But if you like terrible music and a screaming DJ you might enjoy... :)

A very charming, oceanfront hotel which has a wonderful restaurant and an even better bar with amazing views. We really loved to drink an ice cold Red Strip beer in the bar served by the amazing bartender, Nevardo. I especially want to thank him for making our stay so wonderful and we really loved his 70's & 80's funky and soul (background) music. It made me feel young again! :) The hotel is pretty close to Mystic Mountain, a must visit when you are in Ocho Rios.

The facility could do well with some upgrades but the service made up for that. The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. I will visit again in the near future.

The loud music and noise levels outside the hotel. The pool was not as nice either. But, the staff was really nice.

This hotel is a hidden gem. It's had beautiful flowers and trees and birds. Restaurants is good sits right over the sea beautiful views. I love the hotel and just a walk away from Mahogany Beach which we really enjoyed. It was just me and my boyfriend no kids. The only complaint is the noise level from the outside of the hotel the music is super loud and will stay on until at least 2 am in the mornings. This is not the hotel, but the bars outside.
