The fact that I ended up staying an extra two nights and the breakfast menu things that weren’t on their the first night weren’t on for the whole stay which included ackee n salt fish, plantain most of the yard style menu🙄. I would have gone back to stay next week but for the fact that I may get the same breakfast means I will look for somewhere else which is a shame as everything else was fine

Couldn’t see much of a beach but didn’t walk down. Also security who showed us to room was more interested on talking on his phone than helping us or showing us the room, we were fine carrying our bags but never not been offered and always show us key things in room, he just chatted on phone whole time and as soon as got to room walked off. Just surprised me tbh. Apart from that great hotel for the price

For the price you can’t go wrong, right in centre, good parking, WiFi was good, nice sized pool and jacuzzi, food was good. Most of staff were very friendly. Only stayed one night,

the complimentary breakfast could have been more substantial the receptionist on checking in seem to have had a bad day.

the sea view was good, we had a good look at the trees blowing in the winds caused by Hurricane Beryl The room was comfortable, bathroom was good, hot water readily available the standby generator worked very well when the electricity supply was lost due to the Hurricane Beryl

Our room had a lovely view of the pool and the sea beyond. We appreciated that and the clean, comfortable accommodations and beautiful garden. Food in the restaurant was tasty.

Limited menu options at breakfast Breakfast servings were small. Only sugar offered as sweetner for coffee and tea. Dinner portions were small and toooo expensive. The oxtail dinner was very salty and meat was undercooked. Most cooked food I ordered were salty ( didn't enjoy) Cable options were unsatisfactory. Most chanels said"Check back later" very annoying. Only Old movies Sports Local news available. Cable service needs upgrade ASAP The goat dinner did not taste like local goat meat Limited mobility made me unable to go down to the sea/beach. I think I was overcharged for my stay.

Food is simple. We visited the restaurant at 1:45pm for lunch during our stay but informed the kitchen was closed already.

The view is amazing. There is an access to the water, very convenient for enjoying water experiences. Close to shops. Very friendly staff. Ample parking spaces.

Hard to find any fault with this hotel for the price, service and location.

Central location in Ocho Rios, lovely staff, picturesque views of the ocean, excellent breakfast included and run by an exceptional owner/manager Tony Powell who was so friendly and helpful. We felt so welcome from the first minute we arrived and after my daughter went home - I decided to stay another week!

This hotel is well located at Ocho Rios, the rooms are big and comfortable. The beds are cozy. It has a private entry to the sea and a pavement yard by the water where we could take sun. The views from the top levels are breathtaking. The food at Hibiscus Restaurant is exquisite.

I can’t think of anything. lol I wish the pool had been constructed differently to face the sea and not require a bridge. But it’s a lovely pool!

I’ve been to Jamaica numerous times but this was my first time solo as a widow. The staff was excellent. My room comfortable. Views stunning and food delicious. I felt safe. I read the reviews about the nightclub noise. Didn’t bother me at all. But if you want quiet don’t stay in town. Jamaica is not quiet. Period. They like to blast music in the streets. Stores. Moving trucks. The property has nice gardens to retreat to. If you have problems with stairs I would not recommend. There are a couple ramps but you would never get to the bar or to upstairs rooms. I thought this would be my last trip to Jamaica but I think I’ll return for a couple weeks next time!

Front desk surly and rude and anything but welcoming. Stressed that deposit against damage of 100usd required. This was acceptable but when we attempted to turn on reading lamp found it to be broken and glued back together. Back to reception to explain that we had no wish to be accountable for damaged lamp and needed it changed. Broken lamp taken and replaced by yet another rude, surly woman, not a good start.

Loved the location. Setting and grounds spectacular. Ate at Almond Tree two evenings and food and service excellent.

It was Christmas period so there was some loud music noise from the town, although not the hotel’s fault.
