Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaHad a few hiccups while staying here but everything worked out after talking to the manager. We were accommodated.
The staff was accommodating. We had some problems with our first room. It was very tiny and No toiletries no towels. After 2 days we got switched to a room that had everything that was supposed to be included on our room. Was a bit frustrating but they came through and made the rest of our stay worth it. That's all that matters. They had a good attitude about it and made the rest of our stay enjoyable.

United StatesThe only downfall for me is the beds are too firm. I prefer a plush mattress, but it wasn’t unbearable that I didn’t sleep well. Also it does not have direct access to the beach, which is right across the street.
This place is ideal for any and everyone. There are two restaurants and a convenience market about a quarter mile down the road. The staff treats you like family, they interact with you if you want, but also know when you want alone time. I love them all. I have stayed here before and will continue to visit this hotel whenever I come to Jamaica.

Location was easy to find--right off the main road, and the food was made to order with the finest Jamaican touch done by each Chef. This location is family friendly and we enjoyed our stay there, that we have made plans to return. This resort is owned by a son of Jamaica who has returned home, to contribute to Jamaica and the commuity of St. Mary with his family, so we are glad to support him, because we have seen how determined he is to offer quality and quantity in tourism industry in the appearance of the rooms, amenities and the overall beautification of this resort.

United StatesCannot find anything on the resort that I didn't like. The staff make, my wife and I feel like we were family. We felt that warm friendly, welcoming atmosphere from the first moment we arrived at the resort by the first person we met. Staff is very friendly and kind. Can't wait to go back. I would definitely recommend this resort
The breakfast was exceptional, the way it was presented, the quality, quantity and service were excellent. My wife and I really look forward to having breakfast every morning. I love the brown stew chicken, steam callaloo and freshly squeeze orange juice.

United StatesI would have liked it more if the hotel was located on the beach, but then I would have had to pay 3 or 4 times more. It's a great value and is close to the beach and other attractions.
This hotel is well maintained and secure. It's a little hard to find the first time because it is located inside of a secure, walled compound. The staff are outstanding with warm smiles and friendly assistance. I enjoyed a delicious meal made to order beside the pool while listening to a selection of reggae music. Rooftop is a hidden gem. What more could you ask for?
