Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe pool and beach closed early like 6pm. We never got to visit the beach as it was closed the day we tried, I presume due to bad weather. There was no kettle so you had to boil the water in a pan for tea or coffee.
The view from our terrace was amazing we spent many happy nights out there. The cabin was bigger than expected, and the shuttle service to Sorrento was reliable and ran more often than we thought. Air con was good.

United KingdomYou do have to pay for sun loungers on the beach (30 euros for two) It’s a steep walk up from the beach in the heat. Staff were not particularly friendly.
Large pool area. Beach was good with access to the sea. Site was very peaceful, lots of trees and a beautiful view from the restaurant. Regular shuttle bus into town, although four euros for a return trip does start to add up.

AustraliaAfter a long walk to the campground “beach “ you had to pay extra to sit on the lounge chair.
Peaceful most of the time except for loud music Friday and Saturday nights from neighbouring properties. Got my exercising walking up and down the street to our cabin. The shuttle service was great.

AustraliaOur room for four of us was not what we booked and was very squishy .The pool rules make it unenjoyable to use, shower before you get in and wear a swimming cap to get in …….. when you just want to jump in and enjoy. We don’t have pool rules like this in our home country . Also having to pay to use a sun lounge on the beach area and that area closing as early as it does was annoying and to not be able to use the gym when you want because you had to have an instructor with you. Rules for rules sake.
View from breakfast area. Shuttle to main Sorrento town.

United KingdomThe cabin was very small, which is fine as the room is mainly for sleeping however we needed to carry the small dining table outside and leave it on the balcony before we could pull the trunk bed out. There was also nowhere to put our suitcase apart from in front of the kitchenette, so we had to keep moving it everytime we opened a cupboard. No coffee machine as advertised. Hard to prep light lunch as no chopping knife.
Lovely location. We had a sea view bungalow and the view was amazing. Breakfast was nice. We also ate in the restaurant some evenings and the food was good, decent value for money.

United KingdomThe accommodation was very small and cramped. Much smaller than was expected.
A brillaint site with amazing views of the Bay of Naples, including Vesuvius. Lots of boats going to/from to watch. The pool was excellent and the cafe supported our daughter with gluten free food for breakfast.

United KingdomThe fact that we had to pay for wi-fi and the payment would only cover 2 devices.. The swimming caps in the pool were compulsory. The drinks by the pool were very expensive. There were no sunbeds on the beach.
I loved the location, delicious breakfast, and the shuttle bus to Sorrento.

United KingdomAccommodation was very comfortable with good Aircon, but a little tired. Parts of the site would benefit from some maintenance/modernisation. Site is 'cashless' but bear in mind the shuttle bus from the site to Sorrento is cash only.
Great location, lovely view across the bay of Naples, and a short walk from Sorrento. Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent. Stayed in a 4 bed cabin. Pool looked small in photos, but was never over crowded or too busy to find a lounger.

New ZealandThe rooms were very small. The internet was not great. The property is hilly and hard with luggage (going up). We arranged for a golf cart to pick us up to help with luggage when we were leaving. No one turned up as they were short staffed which meant we missed the shuttle we were planning on getting. Communication could have been better
The campground was in a great location and easy to get in and out of town by the shuttle bus. The setting is lovely. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly.

United StatesIt is an uphill trek from almost everywhere which is due to the nature of being on the Sorrento hillside. The open water beach access is all rocks. The shuttle has a 6 hour lunch break and the walk into sorrento is on the side of a tight winding road. Need to be sure you have cash for some things like setting up tours.
View from restaurant at night and views across Naples bay to Vesuvius were amazing. Sunset was breathtaking. Campground is super chill and has nice variety from tent campers to awesome cabins. We stayed in a cabin with a bedroom and an additional Murphy bed for us and 2 kids. It was small but very well set up. Had a nice sink, fridge and kitchenette. Bathroom was great. Nice camp store with everything you need. Nice beach chairs at the pool. Open water access from the property although it is quite a climb down. Restaurant was great with some of the best food we had. There is a shuttle into town and setting up tours is easy.

BrazilEverything is paid there, like, everything. If you want wifi - paid; access to the pool - paid; access to the beach - paid. The only thing free is parking (wich is helpfull).
The shower is perfect! Overall, everything is cery clean and conserved. The place itself is worth some discovery time because you can get amazings views inside. If you want to save some money and have some confort, the place is very good and there are some isolated cabins if you don~t want a lot of people around.
