Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FinlandIts a tad hard to get to from the city. The hotel has a shuttle bus service, but it'd be good to let customers know about it prior to arrival in order to save a long walk in the hot sun.
Much cozier place away from all the chaos. Very family friendly. Its also very nice of the staff to offer use of the facilities on the day of checkout.

United KingdomWe stayed in a mobile home this time which was great for our 3 nights but would have been a little cramped for a longer stay. Ours was showing some wear and tear in places. If you can afford the extra spend a wooden bungalow with sea view is a better option..it suited us for a much longer stay last year. However all of the camping village accommodation is well spaced with lots of landscaping to add privacy and greenery. There isnt much for us to dislike here!
Our second stay here and we returned because its a great option for a convenient stay in Sorrento at a reasonable price. It has a great pool and very beautiful landscaping offering privacy and great views. We love being in the outdoors and self catering so a campsite is always a great option and Santa Fortunata has everything we need in a very beautiful setting. We paid extra for daily breakfast in the restaurant and this is worthwhile for a short stay as it offers self service with a wide variety of food including beautiful sweet options and great coffee.

RomaniaIt’s a little hard to walk around there because there are a lot of stairs
We rented a two rooms house, it was little but we had everything we needed. We stayed in july and the air conditioning worked perfectly The camping is really big, we had dinner at their restaurant every evening and the food was delicious. We also liked the breakfast because we had a lot of options to eat every morning. We also enjoyed the pool even though we have been forced to buy something to put on our head.

United KingdomBring a swim cap for the pool, beach is beautiful but no sand and sharp rocks so bring swim shoes or crocs. Cabin is small but good once you get used to. A bit dangerous to get to if walking from centre
The place was very homely, safe and fun. Lots of things to do and relaxing. Restaurant and entertainment available.

Czech RepublicThe big disappointment was the pool. We were looking for accommodation with a swimming pool but upon arrival we found that it was impossible to bathe without a swimming cap! This one was offered for 10.5 E, but I have not heard this yet. It was also disappointing that the access to the sea closed at 18 o'clock and it was not possible to go swimming directly from the camp (to distant beaches, of course, it was not a problem). And another thing that made us very angry during our stay was the all-day playing of songs in the area very loud and in the night discos, when from 21:30 to midnight music played very loudly, some moderator spoke and it was impossible to enjoy a quiet evening listening to cicadas or just like that. I point out that the music played the same every day, ten songs over and over again.
The best thing about our stay was the restaurant (we had half board), the food exceeded our expectations and the staff were perfect.

IsraelOpening time of the beach and the pool was a little bit to late in my opinion. You can only pay in card at the mini market and restaurant.

IrelandI most love the private beach access, it was so relaxing. I stayed in a cabin, was really nice, perfect size for 2 people, lots of room. Air conditioning is great also! There were 2 pools but I never used them, however they looked great and there’s a lovely kids pool! The area is a great escape from the madness in Sorrento. There’s a bus that goes every 30mins and only takes about 5 mins it’s 1.50euro, I recommend getting this bus because Taxis are very expensive!!

CanadaThe accommodations were not what I expected. Really old and very small spaces. There is no internet unless you pay for it and it’s only two devices. We were three.
We had a nice front porch. The pool chairs were comfortable and always available. They have a private shuttle that runs regularly to get into town.

United StatesThe location is nice that it isn't right in Sorrento with a lot of nature, but also would be a long walk with suitcases from train station. They do have a shuttle that runs pretty frequently for 1 Euro each trip that takes you downtown.
We stayed in an ocean view bungalow. Our group of 12 had 4 bungalows total. The air condition worked well, the rooms were clean. You feel like you are in nature away from downtown Sorrento. It definitely felt like an experience versus a lot

United Kingdomkitchen was fine for us as there were only two of us and we ate out most of the time and only cooked the odd breakfast there. It may be a challenge for a family of four cooking with a two ring burner stove and basic equipment. A toaster would be a good addition. Shop is expensive, local supermarket is in town ten minutes away.
Great place to stay with everything you need on site; pool, really good restaurant, bar area, shop, beach and helpful reception staff. Location was excellent, we had panoramic views of Sorrento from just outside the garden area. The shuttle bus runs up and down to the centre every 30 mins and costs €1.50, mornings and evenings. The local bus stops right at the gate and costs €2. Great stay!
