I have nothing to complain about, except that we didn't stay longer :-)

Well this was something! The villa is charming, it is exactly the Tuscan place you want to visit. After a few days spent traveling our stay in this villa was relaxing. The rooms are cozy, spacious and clean. Excellent breakfast, dinner = heaven in the mouth. The staff is smiling, helpful and friendly. Genius Loci in here!

Location is amazing, lovely views. Room was nice. Host is extremely helpful and will offer any advise you need. The food is superb, you would never expect this from a 3 star accommodation. Great wine list too. Nice views to watch the sunset whilst having dinner. Swimming pool is large, lots of sunbeds, so you always have space. Don't think twice, book this place you will not regret it. 3 stars is underrated.

The bed was a little hard for our liking so not totally comfortable, and the menu was a little limited, but we always found something that we liked.

The staff were very friendly and incredibly welcoming. The pictures on Booking.com massively undersell this place - it was gorgeous with very clean rooms, a stunning location and fantastic facilities. The food was superb and the terrace was the jewel of the crown with the most amazing views out over the Tuscan hills. Highly recommend

The shower in our apartment was small.

There were some minor issues with electricity. Lights were occasionally blinking, especially in the bathrooms. They're partially fixed during our stay.

Hotel's architecture fits perfectly into Tuscany area. Stone and wood is what you get here. Very nice impression. Rooms are comfortable, average in size and very clean (daily cleaning service). A/C works great. Surrounding is very quiet (except for cicadas). View is very nice for a panorama of Tuscan fields of sunflowers, olives and vineyards. Breakfasts are very tasty with great variety of food including Italian hams and cheese. Coffee is truly perfect as you should expect in Italy. Swimming pool is a nice addition with enough sunbeds available. Hotel serves drinks and lunch at your request. All the staff are very helpful and chatty, especially the manager. Greets also to Ewa who speaks Polish. Safe parking is available. You can get to beautiful old-city centre of Cortona in 10 minutes by car. We will be happy to visit this place again.

Our stay was absolute perfection-from the welcome with Prosecco and snacks on the pool patio, to amazing dinners, gorgeous grounds, and a breakfast offering that was not only delicious, but also a work of art-our stay could not have been better!! I will also mention that the pannecotta dessert is the best dessert I have ever had! Every recommendation from the owner was just incredible-including the pistachio pasta. If you can-you must stay!!!

Beautiful, quiet setting with lovely views. The staff were highly attentive and friendly. We loved the quirky, original decor and homely ambience. There are plenty of different areas to chill out and relax in. The swimming pool is amazing with top-quality sun-loungers, umbrellas, side tables and chairs. There is also a Jacuzzi. Our dual-aspect bedroom, with good quality air-conditioning, was wonderful with nice views of the countryside and pool. The breakfast is phenomenal, and was included in the price. (They were particularly good at catering for gluten-free). We liked the hassle-free 'tab' system where drinks and food purchases are paid for at the end of your stay. This was clearly itemised and printed off for us to see. The roof-top restaurant provided top-quality food priced at the local-rate. (The price of a meal there was comparable to that of a good restaurant in near-by Cortona.) We will definitely be returning to Villa Schiatti in the future, and would highly recommend it.

Everything was amazing. The owner very very friendly, the staff so helpful. Beautiful landscape around the area. The restaurant had amazing and tasty dishes. Don't miss it. If you plan to stay near Cortona, this is the place.

For the first comers be aware that road to the villa is narrow and steep, this is not a negative one but it might be a challenge for some.

This is the.second time we have been to the villa. The food is great, the staff is nice and friendly and making sure everyone has a wonderful time. It is very peaceful and we enjoyed as much as during the first stay one year ago.

Property and room slightly tired and overall wasn’t as good value compared to similar places we stayed on our trip.

Good location and beautiful historic small and friendly hotel. Great dinning terrace with panoramic view. Lovely views from pool area and very friendly staff. Breakfast had an excellent choice of local foods and evening was also excellent with its traditional Tuscan dishes.

Everything was all right.

Amazing historical property, very beautiful surroundings and views from the rooms and from the dinner terrace. Very bourgeoise, it has many places to chill from the pool and jacuzzi, to the inner garden with nice lighting in the evening. It also has lunch/dinner options with tasty food and wine. We enjoyed every minute of our staying. Delicious breakfast and very nice staff.

It did not trouble us at all, but the rooms, though large, are quite dated. I guess this is why the stay represented such good value. The trade off worked very well for us. Everything else there was wonderful

Most importantly, everyone who worked there was lovely. They thought about everything and were very attentive. The food at dinner was lovely (try the ragu or pistacchio tortellini- to die for) with a spectacular breakfast selection. The Villa is situatd looking over the plains of Tuscany - the view is spectacular and you see it from the eating terrace and the pool. The swimming pool is just gorgeous and, when the sun becomes too much, there is a lovely dappled shade courtyard where we spent time sipping aperols and reading. I had to be taken to hospital when there and the owner was brilliant in supporting us durng and after my time in hospital.
