Very little. There are some realities to living on a nature resort that you must accept - there's lots of birds and lots of (non-biting) insects for the birds to eat. There is no shop on the island so come prepared!

The location is remote and private. The staff are welcoming, accomodating and happy to chat. The rooms are modern, clean with excellent A/C (try to book a room with a balcony). The beds are comfortable and there is complimentary water in the mini-bar. We stayed 3 nights and wish it could have been more..I recommend more than 1 night to take advantage of the location. There is an east facing private beach with sun beds and umbrellas. The breakfast is very impressive, with lots of choice and unlimited coffee. The restaurant does excellent ravioli, chianina and pasta with chingiale with a lovely wine list.

The fact that getting to and off the island can only be done from one point ie San Feliciano .

The peace and tranquility that you feel on this island is unique. Food was really good and staff were very helpful.

Everything was great.

A super stylish hotel in an old villa by the waters edge. 50 metres from the cheap ferry, which ran frequently and offered free parking at the ferry pier. The room was beautifully stylish, the photos do it no justice, and facilities were first rate. The staff could not be faulted, they were engaging, helpful and could not have done more for us. The food looked and tasted appetising. Finally, the setting was tranquil. Super easy to park, to get the ferry and get to the hotel. Don't let the logistics put you off a magical stay.

The Mosquitos in the evening... But thats nobodys fault.

Super friendly and helpful Staff. Very quiet place, even though the tourist arrive and leave right front of the Hotel. Food was good, and the feeling to sleep on that little island was special. We had a big terrace.

The only downside of our stay was the high amount of mosquitoes and wasps, which made it difficult to enjoy our massive balcony. But obviously that's not the resort's fault, that's just nature. Make sure you bring long sleeves and repellent.

We had a great stay. I broke my ankle just before my trip so ended up coming in a wheelchair and the staff did everything to make us as comfortable as possible. They even offered to drive me around the island on the golf cart since I (obviously) couldn't hike or bike. Even the people from the ferry you need to take to get the island were super helpful (no cars on the ferry/island). Food was great, room was clean and comfortable. Had a great stay, would recommend!

The restaurant’s food dishes and quality as well as the service leaves a lot to be desired, it can be improved A LOT. And at night, you need to travel out by boat to get dinner from somewhere else, so guests are very dependent on the restaurant for dinnertime.

The tranquil location, beautiful scenery and naturally beautiful island. And the reception staff and front desk service is top notch. Our room with balcony overlooking the island’s front was beautiful.

The beach area could be improved

I really enjoyed to experience of taking a ferryboat to reach the property and their frequency was sufficient not to feel cut off from the rest of the world. The island was bigger than expected with things to see and do.

Not as advertised. The whole island was pretty much desolate, felt like a ghost town. Pool wasn’t well kept, beach was hardly a beach and more a bit of gravel leading up to murky water. Bars felt unwelcoming too, all 2 of them…. If you’re looking for a nice walk in the sun / woods, do a day trip here, not worth staying the night at the resort. If you’re looking for a fun day out, I’d try another lake all together.

The lack of staff let's the place down as the staff they have perform many tasks during a very long day, this staffing problem seems to be throughout Italy.

Fantastic peaceful location with helpful staff and very nice room. Great for nature with plenty of wild birds etc.

The exterior of our room (Balcony) was filthy everything was covered in cobwebs and dead insects. Our main problem was the parking at the dock. We parked beside the ferry dock overnight only to find that our car had been broken into overnight while we were on the island. A more secure parking place for guests is obviously a must.

While the place has a lot of potential, the quality of the service (especially at the reception) is highly unprofessional and unfriendly. In our case, the room booking clearly stated the room has a balcony. However, this was not the case for our room and the reception was not willing to deal with this issue. Indeed, they even reacted quite arrogant. Also during the breakfast, the service time was incredibly long and especially the head of staff preferred to chat with guests instead of supporting the overwhelmed service staff. In general, the whole building is in a bad shape and not in a welcoming condition.

The island is really beautiful.
