the spa was amazing! the swimming pool was soooo beautiful and the staff were very helpful. also the restaurant deserves a special shout out as i ordered a special order from the chef and he nicely agreed to do it for me and it was delicious! definitely gonna come again!

Everything is absolutely perfect! The staff is very friendly, rooms are spacious, luxurious and clean. For breakfast there is not a big selection, but everything that they serve is 10/10, I am still dreaming about the croissants and house made jam.

The food is very very overpriced - so maybe avoid eating there. We found a couple of lovely much cheaper (and tastier) restaurants nearby.

The location is amazing. View from the pool is stunning and our room had its own private terrace with loungers set back from the pool which was perfect. It was peaceful most of the time and the room and bathroom were luxurious.

The check-in lacked information, we were given a glass of sparkling wine which was a lovely touch but we weren’t showed the timetable of activities, told how to book things or shown what the property had to offer. We found out things too late to book some of the things we’d of liked to have done/seen. The younger staff are incredibly helpful some of the staff at the front desk are a little short and not as helpful. Michaela (ps restaurant), Elio (pool bar) and the ladies at breakfast are lovely.

This place is in a beautiful location and the rooms, pool and restaurants are fantastic.

Not much- it would be nice to have an iron or steamer already in the room for convenience sake. Otherwise, really my stay here was perfect!

Breakfast was delicious, I loved the variety and the multiple juice options. I absolutely enjoyed my stay and have already told several friends about it. The staff is lovely, the restaurant was wonderful, and the pool experience was so relaxing. Really well done!

We had the most incredible experience at Villa Petriolo! This hotel is absolutely exquisite - between the clean and luxurious rooms, picturesque scenery and grounds, and delicious food, every detail is perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed our spa experience and had so much fun during the cooking class. Additionally, the staff is superb! They were so kind, welcoming, and attentive to our needs and questions; major thanks to Niccolo, Marco, and Valentina for making our experience so special and unforgettable! We eagerly look forward to returning to Villa Petriolo in the near future!

Absolutely nothing

This place needs to be on your bucket list. Just awesome in every way! From the stunning rooms overlooking the rolling fields and vineyards, the staff who are so friendly and accomodating, the food is next level, the spa is just amazing and just going for long walks with farm animals on the property is a sign to behold. Oh and did I mention the amazing cooking school with Marco.

Two small issues : 1. I missed a mirror in the room 2. Our room was on the ground floor and we kind of heard the sound of cars arriving to the reception (form time to time)

It was one of the best stays we have ever experienced. I would like to give most of my credits to the staff: the whole customer journey from booking to the good bye was perfect. Literally every single person was nice to us. Greetings to Giada and Olga from reception, Ellia (not sure about spelling) from the bar, and ladies from breakfast service. The room was very nice, clean and big enough. The whole area is created for relaxing vacations. Furthermore, the food and wines - another big reason to come to the villa

The only small thing that bothered us was that the curtains are not blackout ones, so the lights from the terrace outside shone in the room until well after midnight. Luckily I had a sleep mask with me, but the room was very light at night even with the lights off. Also, I think a few days is plenty. There are three places to eat - the main restaurant, pool bar area, and the fancier tasting menu restaurant - but if we had been there for longer, we would have definitely been craving a bit more variety in the menu. It's not close to anything (which is part of what makes it incredible), so you're going to be eating most of your meals at the hotel.

Villa Petriolo is a special place. Nestled in the Tuscan countryside, there are views of hilltop villages and vineyards that go on for miles and miles. They are very committed to sustainability and most of the (delicious) food that they serve is sourced from the farm itself. The staff are wonderful and attentive and it's a very relaxing place to hang out for a few days.

We were not happy with the dinner at the Osteria restaurant. We went with the suggestion from the staff which was steak and it was the worst, chewiest meat we ever had. It was so disappointing especially considering the fame of the great Italian kitchen and that they had a farm in the facility. The options in the menu were not variable and not so attractive. Breakfast at the same restaurant was god though.

Prices for some activities are too expensive . We really enjoyed a cooking class but it was advertised with cheaper pricing in the room manual . In my view the hotel should have charged what we saw as advertised in the room instead of the 'up to date' price as this is an error from them but this was notmoffered when I pointed out the price charged vs in the manual is different but did note the room number to ensure it was updated.

Villa Petriola sits on top of the Tuscan hills and is truly a magical place. There are views and nooks to relax from every corner of the property . Staff are very helpful and friendly and the restaurant food was delicious

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Villa Petriolo. The villa is absolutely stunning, the rooms were great, the staff were SO friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed all our meals on site, the breakfast was really good as well. We did a cooking class and wine tasting while at the Villa and it was probably one of our favourite days of our entire trip. We also had a spa day and the facilities were wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about Villa Petriolo!

Just one small note: if you drive an electric car, you are charged 45 euro per night to charge it (regardless of how much KW you use and the percentage of your car battery). I think it would be more fair to have a price per hour or per KW instead of a flat rate.

We had the chance to travel quite a lot to Tuscany, but we have never found a place like this one. The location is simply incredible. The staff is excellent, always smiling and ready to welcome each request. Rooms are big, spacious and well-decorated (with a stunning view of the typical Tuscany landscape). Shared spaces are curated in each tiny detail. I suggest trying the restaurant at least once since it's an incredible experience. Also, you can enjoy an amazing walk around the property where you can see pigs, donkeys, goats....completely surrounded by nature. In conclusion, it is a place where I'll be back for sure.

Nothing within walking distance - not really needed anyway because the place has it all. The road is quite narrow and not in the best condition. Fitness center is only open 7 to 7, but the staff seem accommodating if you want to use it earlier or later.

Amazing views - situated on a hilltop with views in all directions. Breakfast is great - good mix of options and well stocked. Both restaurants on site are exceptional. There was a 3rd for pizza, but it seems to have closed. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. WIFI works well. Great staff. Favorite place to stay in the area. There is really nothing like it nearby. Ample parking.
