The friendly welcoming hosts and the excellent service provided by them and their staff. Added to all of this the Villa itself with wonderful painted ceilings and unusual roofed roof terrace, and the thought that had gone in to making the Villa and garden an attractive place to stay.

Villa Marie was just exceptional. I am also so glad I decided to stay in Tremezzo. The property is lake front, so you get views of the breathtaking mountains wherever you are. The entrance, pool area, bar/lounge, and breakfast sun room are just magical. Vibrant, comfortable, well equipped. The staff are just phenomenal— equally professional, accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Every corner of the interior is absolutely stunning and meticulously looked after. I stayed in a suite with a garden view and only a “partial” view of the lake (pictured), but still perfect when I opened my window because the property has wide open space on either side (entrance driveway & pool area) with nothing obstructing the view. The room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The bed was so comfortable and the bedding used felt truly luxurious. The bathroom was spotless each day, and had everything I needed. I intend to be back to Como soon and will certainly stay here again!

Beautiful hotel with stunning views of the lake and mountains. Our room was exceptional and the Staff were excellent. The hotel is close to restaurants and a dock for taking the boat to visit other towns on the lake. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay at Lake Como.

It was a bit cold in the first night, but tolerable. The bathroom door doesn't close very well but that was also tolerable.

Old villa but very well refurbished, exceptional view, confortable beds, sheets and pillows, good blackout. Very good breakfast and extremely nice staff. Free underground garage is also an important asset.

Hosts and staff were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. I loved staying here, even though we had a few days of rather cold or cloudy weather. We stayed in the annex. We had a spacious comfortable room. The breakfast was very good, in the European style, with cold cuts and hard and soft cooked eggs, croissants, a different freshly baked simple cake every day, and more. There are also scrambled eggs. The restaurant is well located, at the main highway that runs along the coastline. A cluster of good restaurants is a 15 minute walk away. A ferry stop is even closer. Some really good restaurants require a car or taxi to get to. The bar in the hotel is open all day long. You can get coffee, drinks, and there is a small selection of sandwiches. One part of the main building has a rooftop loggia from which you can have a fantastic view. The loggia is also iconic for Tremezzo. If you rent a car get a small one! The road from Como is very narrow at some points.

I'd love to see a restaurant there as the closest decent places are about 15-20 minutes walk. There are also no tissues in the rooms, and sadly the new renovations meant the room smelled of fresh paint. Needs an espresso machine, we are in Italy after all!

Hotel is immaculate, breakfast and bar are fantastic. Location in terms of seclusion is far superior to anything you will find in Tremezzino. .

Stunning location, staff were friendly and accommodating, very comfortable room. The owners went above and beyond to assist us with an early morning transfer and even packed us breakfast to go!
