Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

ItalyThe fan in the bathroom starts to make strange noise (machine noise). The sink is a bit high for me (160 cm). But it was very clean, so those defects were just small things.
It was super clean! The breakfast was well prepared. It is located in a quiet area, so you can sleep well for sure with a comfortable firm mattress.

Beautifully and carefully restored and decorated villa. In an ideal location for visiting the charming old part of the city. Quiet surrounding, just a 5-minute walk to restaurants and cafes. Parking on the site with payment. The host is very kind and at your service. We enjoyed our stay very much, for every recommendation.

It is a wonderful newly renovated Villa in an ideal location. Either for sightseeing or for anyone (like me) attending a trade show at the Rimini convention center. The owner Valeria ist super nice and helps with any kind of questions one may have. I stayed at the property for four days and it felt like staying at a friends villa.

It was amazing : the room was huge, we had basically an apartment, the bed was super comfortable, and the room itself was very cozy and stylish. Villa is nearby city center (20min by bus) and close to the beach (20 min by foot).We loved the owner, she gave us lots of great advices for visiting places around Rimini and where to eat. Besides that, she made a delicious breakfast with a wide variety of fruits, meat, and sweets. Thank you very much for such marvelous 4 days in villa Maldestra ! 😊

GreeceRoom was luxurious, high aesthetics, clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered different options depending on your desire, always fresh and tastefull. Location was in a really nice area near everything either by car or walking distance. Valeria has a kind and warm smile, always available and willing to help you, provide information and guidance on special places to eat, drink and even where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. A true pleasure meeting Valeria and staying at her beautiful house!
