It was about 10 mins by car from Sorrento up a steep and windy road so not walkable but they offered a free and regular shuttle which was great!

Beautiful, boutique hotel. Lovely gardens, great pool for a dip, amazing breakfast and staff were so kind and helpful.

A beautiful place, the staff are very nice and Israel lovers. We were treated to drinks when we arrived. The room is beautiful and spacious. There is a free hotel shuttle service to the city center throughout the day and evening. good breakfast Nice pool.

Gorgeous location with great views. Free shuttle to the town. If you like walking there was a good pathway down too. Breakfast was good too

One thing we didn’t like about the room is the see through bathroom door. No privacy for the toilet :(. We are a couple but some things don’t need to be shared!

The property and views are beautiful. So peaceful. It’s out of town but with the regular shuttle this works fine. The breakfast is amazing.

The breakfast was a fantastic aray of home produced and baked products, all beautifully presented. The shuttle bus was absolutely brilliant, dropping us into Sorrento and collecting us at 9.45 or 11pm was perfect, parking is an issue in town.

A text from the property explaining the shuttle bus before we arrived would have been ideal as we could have used the shuttle to get to the villa with our luggage. The shuttle bus was almost always reliable but, critically, didn’t appear one morning which meant we had to walk / run at points from the villa to the port to make our ferry to Capri. Not exactly ideal and we definitely could have missed the ferry

Breathtaking location away from the busy centre of Sorrento. Shuttle bus service is an excellent touch that helped us pack loads into a short holiday without worrying about taxis or public buses. Breakfast is a generous portion size and excellent quality. All the staff are very approachable. The villa generally has a very relaxed vibe

We had an amazing stay at Villa Giovanna. We really enjoyed coming back to the villa in the afternoon to cool down in the pool, and relax after exploring the Amalfi coast. The staff was lovely and really helpful. We recommend taking the cooking class if you like making and eating good food while drinking wine. Thank you for a really good experience. Cant wait to come back!

Amazing setting up high over Sorrento. Staff were very polite going out of their way to drop us at the station and mind our luggage early before we could check in. Shuttle bus was excellent. Welcome drink by the pool was a lovely touch. Breakfast was very good.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Every single person on the staff was hospitable, helpful and amazing beginning with Laura at check in. Upon arrival we were greeted with the most delicious lemoncello spritz. The breakfast buffet was delicious and included freshly made eggs and cappuccino to order. The shuttle and drivers were awesome! Ricardo was so helpful in helping us plan a wonderful day at La Perla beach club in Nerano.

Breakfast was lovely but became a little samey after a few days. Few too many cakes, but that’s not perhaps to our British tastes. Apart from that, we can’t think of anything we didn’t love!

Lovely staff, family feel, very relaxing, authentic, felt like we were friends visiting their villa in the hills. Shuttle bus service really great. Pit in a fun entertainment evening with free food (delicious!) and wine. Singer great fun. Bedroom lovely and big, great bed, great bathroom, quiet everything you’d want in a villa stay. Can completely recommend, you will not be disappointed here. We would return if in Sorrento again, without a doubt.

The staff at Villa Giovanna are exceptional - so friendly and helpful in assisting us with transfers and information about local trips. The cleaning/catering staff were brilliant and the bar is open throughout the day/evening for drinks. The property is beautiful, clean and peaceful with lots of shaded areas to sit and enjoy the views. We enjoyed being away from the busy town and the shuttle bus was a game changer. Breakfast is a buffet of mainly sweet items (cakes/fruit/yoghurt/toast) and a cooked breakfast is also offered: fried eggs, ham, cheese and bruschetta which was delicious. You can also ask for an omelette. World definitely stay here again.
