Stunning hotel, stunning location. Second time staying here and it is a beautiful hotel. We stayed in one of the suites which are spacious, comfortable and exceptionally clean.

There was essentially no soundproofing. The next room had a young woman who liked her music loud and pulsating and warbled along with it - fortunately it was mostly in the mid-morning and the afternoon ( but it occurred on 2 of our 6 days and it was moderate on another ) and usually lasted less than 2 hours. There was a wedding on the premises while we were there and the revelers awakened us twice - one time at 11:30 PM and another at 4:30AM (the same night). I spoke to the concierge once and he did not seem interested in doing anything proactively . After paying 950 euros a night for 6 nights , I asked for a planned late (1.5 hour ) checkout -I was told it would only be possible to approve that at the last minute ( same concierge ) .

The view was the among best I have ever had and I have visited over 70 countries and have overlooked geysers and active volcanos - the room was top floor in the center facing the rear of the hotel rm 320. Breakfast was very good with many excellent choices - omelets , eggs benedict, wonderful cheeses and the pastries were probably from a French pastry chef , the fruit was superb and even the very varied ( carrot orange, peach, banana and blueberry ) bottled juices were very special. The majority of the staff (95 % ) was unmatched. The beds , shower and amenities were all very good. It was also close to the town and its ferries - 10 minutes for 75 year old who IS not a speed walker. The terrace was large and had a table and chairs and two separate lounge chairs. It was an easy walk to many great restaurants on the water with fine views and wonderful food.

It seems the walls are not soundproof, we could hear a baby crying in the next room. Unfortunately the baby cried a lot.

What an amazing hotel, beautiful location as well as close to walk into the town. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was so good with a wide variety of choice. Staff we very friendly, courteous and there to help in any way possible.

I would be very much nit-picking to say I did not like something. Perhaps as a non fish eater, a little more variety on the menus between the various restaurants and the beetroot risotto with radish was a little too dry. Some guests complained the Superior rooms were small and by American standards they probably are ; but they are luxurious and well proportioned by European standards.

Location perfect for exploring Sirmione and the Lake itself via the ferries. In secluded gardens so very private and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent with good choice. Service was great with very friendly staff.

No question the best hotel in Sirmione. The minute we approached the gate and came up the drive it was going to be special. The hotel were all great, happy, and pleased to offer any suggestions for dinner reservations, bookings anywhere. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The pool area is also great which easy refreshment orders, pool towels and such. Breakfast is great with just about everything between the buffet and the menu out on the terrace overlooking the lake. Short walk through the back gate into central sirmione which was great to wonder around the streets. We also did a private sunset boat tour with Garda tours which I also couldn’t recommend enough. Bottle of sparkling wine and a tour on a lovely new boat was awesome at sunset. Very extravagant few days! Hopefully we’ll be back again!

I wish I had known that they would have picked us up from the nearby spa so you wouldn't. at our age of 84 had to pull our suitcases up the hill

I wish we had known that driving to the hotel during the day was going to be tricky, due to the restricted roads.

Wonderful staff - extremely helpful and looked after us very well. The jetty on the lake was a fantastic way to spend the afternoon
