The rooms and the garden area could use more maintenance and cleaning. The bathroom fan was quite loud. No public bathroom available after check-out.

We have stayed at Villa Almoezia for 2 nights at the end of our Sicily trip. Owner Sebastiano and his wife were very kind in welcoming us to the villa and showing us around the area and terrain. We consider the Taormina area slightly more expensive then more southern area’s of Sicily’s east-coast and believe that this Villa has a decent price/quality ratio that makes it a good decision for this time of year (May 2024). From the Villa you can go down a beautiful but long set of stairs (540+) to arrive at the top of Taormina. We really enjoyed doing this twice as it is an easy non steep staircase with a beautiful view on the Taormina bay area. To return to the villa, you can either go by buss or take a taxi/uber. The rooms and general layout are very traditional and classic. If you are into modern facilities or rooms, you should book elsewhere. But in the basis the room had a comfortable bed, air-conditioning and a nice view on the Lettojani beach area and the idyllic Castelmola. If you book here, consider that there is only one lunch restaurant with a limited lunch menu in the direct vicinity of the villa. Don't go there. Also consider bringing your own water, drinks, snacks etc. before arriving – as there are limited options to purchase this on the location. We recommend bringing some cash in advance as you need to pay the tourist tax and breakfast in cash. What stood out positively was the kindness of the hosts and the attentive breakfast that you get in the morning. Sebastiano even proactively drove me to Castelmola to visit the ATM with a view. The heartfelt good morning we received from Sebastiano and his wife, we will remember for long. Thank you very much.

The location might be detrimental for some and advantageous for others. You can walk down into Taormina or take a bus. The return walk would be rather arduous.

Super helpful and kind host in Sebastiano! Fantastic views in every direction. He makes the best breakfasts, w/ Castelmola in the background. Quiet room. Walking distance to amazing restaurants with equal views. Sitting up high on the mountain by the Rocca and stairway. Seba is a terrific man.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Almoezia. The property is situated hillside overlooking the stunning Sicilian coastline. Seba made the check-in experience easy over WhatsApp. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure strong. The room was sized well for two people. We loved waking up to the sunrise over the surrounding mountains. Wish we had stayed longer to be honest. We would recommend driving or taking a taxi to the property as the walk from Taormina is steep!

Sebastiano is a great host, an amazingly warm and hilarious person. He advised us on everything - like which bus to take to get to our accommodation and where to go for dinner. Unfortunately the bus was full (we definitely recommend to buy the tickets in advance) so we walked from the centre of Taormina. It was quite challenging, but it was a fun experience in the end and we enjoyed the swimming pool all the more. The pool was quite cold, but the view of the sea and the opposite hills shrouded in mist was absolutely breathtaking! The accommodation is not very modern, it has more of a country feel, but we really enjoyed our stay here. And thank you very much for the breakfast surprise!!! :-)

Loved everything! Be prepared to climb stairs as there is no parking on Taormina. Sebastiano and Mauro are very welcoming and the perfect hosts. Highly recommended

Most amazing B&B of Sicily! The most beautiful views, 360 panorama. High up above the noise and many tourists of Taormina. super friendly and welcoming host, Sebastiano, who speaks perfect French. No worries about late check in. Amazing breakfast, pool and just an overall wonderful time. We will definitely come back in the future!

We loved the simplicity of the property. It’s out of the town so it’s quiet and has amazing views. Sebastiano was so welcoming and friendly. We didn’t have a car but buses and taxis provide good options for coming up the hill. It’s an easy walk down the hill to town via steps.

Rustic property with modern amenities. Fabulous view from the pool . The owner Sebastiano is a star, great character and wealth of knowledge. The steps down and up from town centre are a challenge, but there is always a bus or taxis.

Nice having the pool. Relaxing breakfast on the patio with lovely view was great. Having some wine and beer to purchase on site is a nice touch. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Fresh plums and grapes from his garden was very nice. No traffic noise.

We had challenges making payment - as direct payment on site was required but the Internet and banking system wasn't working so payment still unresolved . Internet is very slow and limited

He was very helpful informing us about the buses into Taormina which is essential for staying and very easy and convenient to use . Otherwise it is a 504 step walk . Delightful simple breakfast on the terrace .As we had a car - was easy to park on the road
