The shower could have drained a bit better. After every shower I was standing in a few inches of water. Not sure if that's just how it works in Venice, or if there was a bit of a plumbing problem. It was a minor inconvenience.

The location in Venice was great. Very central to a lot of activities. The building was awesome and the courtyard was beautiful, especially at night. Bed was very comfortable and the hot water maker in the room with coffee packets was used everyday.

Door to the hall was thin so you could hear other guests when they weren’t in their room. (Some guests also just weren’t cognizant of others and were loud at night, no fault of the staff).

It was a great location and was very clean. Hosts were responsive and nice. Room was big and comfortable.

Nothing the host can control: the noise from boats speeding past at night, often with loud music on. Venice council or water police has to introduce speed limits and noise restrictions! We would have preferred softer pillows.

The room, bathroom and apartment were excellent: clean, spacious and with ample facilities. Lovely view over a canal and not far from Via di Roma, Ospitalle, and Rialto bridge. Great host!

Path to the hotel was a bit isolated (for a very short distance). Bathrooms were outside the room (but were private and the room we stayed(room 3) had the luxury of not getting disturbed due to it being the last room in the corridor which could be covered with a curtain to block other rooms from our path from bathroom to room)

It was a nice place with good facilities and clean rooms. There was a small view from the room of the water ways.

I am aware of the problems with buildings in Venice, but maybe something could be done for the very loud noise that doors make when opening/closing.

It was our second year in a row here, as we like it very much. The owner and staff are very kind and helpful. Location is great. Room is wide and everything is very clean.

Extra pillow would have been nice

When I made the reservation I was a bit worried about not having an en suite bathroom, but in the end it worked out perfectly. Even though you share the apartment, there is sufficient privacy. Location is perfect for Venice : far enough from the noisy tourists, but near enough to visit the popular sites.

Nothing really. Bathroom is separate from the room so you have to walk out in the corridor, but it was never an issue. Was just scared to wake up other people in the middle of the night. But the building date from the 17th century, so it is understandable.

Breakfast was self-catering. The setting, the room, the vibe, everything was good. The hostess Monica is a super host. Very friendly and helpful. She gave us lots of info, helped us find good rates for travel to other destinations. told us a bit about the history of the place. Her communication before our arrival was very good with pictures of where to find keys etc. She made our stay very pleasant and will return to her when we revisit.

Spacious room with a comfortable bed. The private bathroom was outside the room, but not an issue at all! The facilities were great with a fully equipped kitchen if you'd like to cook meals. Check in and communication were easy. Monica was very friendly and helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations.

The only thing I would say I didn't like was the kitchen was messy all the days I was there with dirty dishes in the sink so I did not use the kitchen at all.

The location was incredible! It was close to everything. The room and bathroom was very clean. When I had trouble finding it in the dark I was able to phone the owner and she guided me there. I thought having the bathroom outside the room would bother me, but it was fine. It was also nice and quiet.

There were no comfortable chairs ( only hard wood bistro chairs) for relaxing at the end of a busy day.

Our apartment overlooked a canal. We had access to fridge, full kitchen. Bathroom was lovely. Beautiful courtyard. Our Host helped us get help to get back to water taxi at the end of our stay ( one of our party is in a wheelchair)

What a pleasant stay! Monica was very responsive. She gave me clear instructions on transportation, how to get to airport early in the morning and how to get to her place late at night. The location is super, a few mins away from the water bus station. Can reach main tourist spots in short walks too. Check in instructions very clear, room is very spacious and clean. Definitely book this place again when I’m back in Venice!

This property was unreal!! In a nice little quiet spot which was in a stunning location. Our room was lucky enough to look out onto a canal which made our stay and more awesome! Plenty of nice restaurants around and the hosts were very kind in showing us where to eat and drink.

Would be good if there is a clothing closet or more luggage racks to prop up luggage. This is a small issue. Shower space was a bit small but again, this is a small issue.

Kind and friendly host who provided a homely accommodation and great coffee. Location is near Rialto Bridge and other main attractions, which is great!
