Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

ItalyShower is dangerously slippery for handicapped people and spills water all over the bathroom. Parking is 350m away and when we tried to leave we couldn’t because the gate was broken.

We only stayed one night in this hotel as catching early train the next day. Lovely comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful staff. spotless room, comfortable beds. wifi worked well in the room. Great breakfast in a very nice breakfast room. Easy walk of 10-15 mins to train station.

The room was clean and very nicely decorated. The bathroom was spacious and we really enjoyed the rainfall shower. The bed was very comfortable. We easily found parking on the street outside the hotel for a small fee. The hotel was conveniently located within short walking distance to the old town. The breakfast was delicious and abundant.

IrelandThere was a lot of wall space either side of tv, in bedroom. As there were only 2 hangers per person in wardrobe, it would be a good idea to put a set of hooks either side of tv. Room size was ‘compact’.
Breakfast was good - Elena, in dining room, was so helpful, always cheerful and willing to fulfil any guests requests. She is an asset to the Company. One of the bedroom staff was very nice also, but i don’t know her name.

United StatesThe only reason why I did not give a 10 is because the wifi and internet service is terrible. For the 2 nights we were there it would not work. We had to find other ways to do use our phones and tablets. "Business travelers be aware, this could be a major problem for those depending on WIFI from the hotel.
The Hotel location is perfect, very easy walking distance from the train station and rental car places right around the corner. Plenty of restaurants choices near by. The breakfast was plenty and fresh eggs made to order available. The hotel has a SPA in case you need some relaxing time before continuing on your trip. Everyone in the staff was very polite and had excellent customer services skill.

UkraineAs I mentioned, the hotel was great, but Foggia itself wasn’t the best choice to stay during a vacation🙂 My mistake, I didn’t make a deep research before the trip. First, the gentleman on a reception told that it was absolutely unsafe to leave a car outside. So we had to walk around 250 m to a parking with surveillance, which cost us around 20 euros per night, as we tried to escape the town during the day. I’m actually not from a safest place on a planet right now, but this town made a really bad impression on me - dirty streets, weird people in the streets. In the evening we could not find any restaurant to eat! Everything was closed, just some small and dirty(again) pubs were open. To be fair, we didn’t have any incidents, but we just wsisted 3 days.
The hotel itself was nice. Clean room and bed linen, towels. The room was cleaned every day. Great breakfast, it was the same every day, but we stayed 3 days and there were enough options to be fine with it. Nice and pleasant staff, especially ladies in the restaurant - big thanks to them.
