Fantastic location - 5 min walk to train station, less than 15 min walk to David and restaurant / cafe as soon as you walk out the door. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic rooms but all you need. Comfortable and great aircon.

The wifi connection in the room was terrible!!! Had to return the key pass to reception each time we left the room as it was one of their rules. There is no good lighting, it’s dark.

So close to the train station and restaurants. The room was comfortable. The staff were friendly. It had a lift and vending machine.

When you shower the whole floor gets wet, shower curtains were white and you could see how dirty it was, bad lighting in the rooms, no full mirror, ac was not always cool.

Hotel was just a few minutes from the Florence train station and close to tourist attractions, restaurants, shops etc.

Location was great, air con was great, the hotel looked after our luggage on final day which was very helpful.

We had a room overlooking the piazza and there was a street cleaning machine early each morning which was very noisy.

If you're arriving by train, this hotel is very well placed. As you walk down to the Piazza di Santa Maria Novella, the walkway opens out onto the piazza and the hotel is there; five minutes walk. There is a cafe next door which has quite a variety for breakfasts. The Basilica di Santa Maria Novella is well worth visiting. You can easily walk to anywhere in Florence from here. Friendly staff.

My room had a noisy extract fan that sounded like road works every night, so it was very hard to fall asleep. It did eventually stop very late at night. Our friends in another room didn't hear it though. It would also have been nice if they provided coffee making facilities.

A bit noisy and the bed for a couple is not good, given that they put together two single beds so it gets with a hole in the middle of the bed

Small inconveniences: the dim and indirect lighting in the bathroom; no full-length mirror, and nowhere for a suitcase holder, if there was one.

This was a comfortable and convenient place to stay in one of the busy parts of Florence. The room was at the rear of the building, on the top floor, accessible via a lift. It was very quiet at night, and sunny during the day. The bed and pillows offered excellent comfort for a good sleep, and the shower was hot and strong. The reception staff I encountered were always friendly and helpful. A big thank you to the fellow who checked me in - he was efficient and informative and extremely polite. Its great location meant it was only a short, flat walk to the airport tram - at €1.70 that was the cheapest, easiest trip I've ever had to an airport, anywhere.
