Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location, the breakfast and the friendly and helpful staff. There are so many fantastic gelato shops and restaurants to choose from surrounding the hotel. Close access to buses and the Metro. Seconds away from the Trevi fountain!

AustraliaI suppose the thing that was a minus was the steps, but because I have difficulty with my knees. I should of checked this out when booking. Also the aircon has a light that shines down on the bed making room light, but I like a dark room for sleeping. The temperature was hot when we were there so turn it off wasnt an option.
Our room was such a surprise when we opened the door. Decorated stylishly, with a good sized bathroom and shower. The location was great for us as it was pretty central to all sites visiting. Convenient to lots of great eating places and a small supermarket at the end of the street.

Room was clean and comfortable, staff were incredibly friendly and even booked a private taxi to the airport for us. Breakfast was a huge spread and even had a delicious latte made for me. United KingdomThe pillows were too hard. We actually carry our own as this often the case I find when travelling. There is no lift so if you can’t carry your suitcases upstairs don’t book here.
The location is fab, right next to the Trevi fountain. Room was modern and large enough for us. The bathroom was great and there was a safe to put personal belongings in. The staff were so friendly and helpful with all questions we had , which were mainly about Rome logistics.
