Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaThe hosts at Trastevere Colours are wonderful - very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that we knew what buses to take and to provide guide books and maps to help us enjoy our time in Rome. Breakfast every morning was wonderful with fresh croissants, yogurt, fruit and wonderful coffee. The location is great - in the heart of Trastevere and very close to transit and lots of great restaurants.

Excellent location in Trastevere. We love that neighborhood--much more "local" in flavor than central Rome. B&B is in very quiet side street so you will get a good night's sleep. Hospitality from family is a 10--so welcoming and eager to please and to have you as their guest. You will get comfortable, clean accommodations which delivers great value for the money. Just don't expect the "Ritz." Very easy to take train from FCO to Trastevere station then very short bus ride to within two blocks of B&B. Overall Rome is obviously a very busy city so again I would point out the quiet but very central location in Trastevere of Trastevere Colors. Short walking distance to many restaurants.

The location in Trastevere was fantastic, close to restaurants, supermarkets, public transport. Our hostess Carolina was superb, so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

Everything! Lovely staff, friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning. Large room, quiet and comfortable. Location was excellent, tucked just far enough away from the busy part of the Trastevere with a couple restaurants and bars around the corner. Taxi and trolley a block away.
