Hairdryer in the bathroom was broken and the bath mat was wet when I got there (implying it hadn't been changed/washed). Check-in time is also a bit restrictive so be sure to plan ahead.

Good location near the Vatican, friendly host and very sizeable room with everything I needed for a 2-night stay. Breakfast was included and being able to use the kitchen was a big plus.

installations can be improved. the floor looks old and some wallpapers fell down. I was expecting fresh breakfast but it was not the case. it was just some cookies and industrial croissant left in a bucket inside the room.

I was very pleased with this accommodation. The location was perfect- 8 minutes walking to Vatican, 15-20 minutes to many historical sites. Many shops with fantastic fashion, as well as many restaurants are near by. The bed was very comfortable. The room was surprising big. I didn't hear any noise even though the street was quite busy (you would only hear some traffic noises if you would keep the window open, but nothing unbearable). The room was clean, and the overall impression was as if you'd be living not just renting an apartment in the hear of Rome. the staff however were the highlights. Very helpful and friendly, even letting me in at 2am as my flight was late. I haven't experienced anyone going above and beyond as much and I travel a lot.

the bathroom could have been cleaner, ‘room service’ did not clean it in any way during our stay. The breakfast option is not really a traditional breakfast - you will get some plastic packed croissants with jams/Nutella and coffee tabs. We personally did not like Nespresso coffee taste - traditional Italian coffee beans could have been a better fit. The walls between rooms are also very thin.

The main advantage of the object is definitely its location! Very close to Vatican City, nice walk to further attractions. The host was also very supportive and nice to us ;)

It's an old building. It has that old building charm but still, it's pretty dated. That being said, if I go back to Rome again, I would definitely stay here again.

It was a stone's throw away from Vatican City. It was very close to the metro. You can visit all the Roman landmarks by walking. The location is exceptional. It was cleaned really well too. When I checked-in, the staff gave me a guide of what to visit in the city. It was really nice.

Jacapo was very welcoming and attentive as required, as were his staff. Appears to be a flat converted into a mini-hotel with 3 rooms so very peaceful and private bathroom was attached to our room across the hallway. It was spacious with an excellent shower! Perfect for washing off those miles walked. There is a high class of restaurant nearby with very reasonable prices.

Some repair work in the bathroom is necessary to be able to get excellent rating.

Breakfast was fine as soon as we understood that it is a type of continental breakfast. In Booking.com offer it was said - buffet breakfast. Booking.com have to change this information. Location is perfect - close to metro station and within a walking distance to Vatican, St.Angelo, and other attractions, restaurants. The host was polite and helpful. I would choose the place again.

I had bigger expectation from breakfast. (But I already know, that in Rome breakfast consists mainly of coffee.) The room is located in big flat, it’s not a hotel. (But you have everyday room service like you would have in hotel.) I didn’t have feeling of privacy, because the door of my room was not very noiseproof, so I could hear neighbours from the other rooms.
