There was an odd smell to the room, almost like BO & the shower did not drain very well. One of the towels was already damp when we arrived which was a bit odd.

The location of the property is great - it's definitely a great budget option for Venice. The air conditioning worked well too.

It's not the easiest place to shower. The kitchen supplies seem a little dirty and it's not easy to wash them in the bathroom sink. The decoration looks random and in some areas the place reminds a storage unit. Also the WiFi had it's problems and the TV screen that is in the pictures was missing. Despite all that it is a place that we would choose if we visit Venice again because the cons are a lot smaller than the pros.

Very central located and cheap accommodation. The lady that met us was very friendly and helpful. We had the chance to leave our luggage before check in. The microwave gave us the chance to heat some meals.

Location is very central but also in the middle of the touristic area so very crowded and noisy. It was also very difficult to find for the first time I arrived.

The shower was a little small but can’t really complain about that - at least there was a shower for the price we paid for mid-July!

The location is incredible. Facilities were great, I forgot my hairdryer and honestly, didn’t think there would be one in the room, but alas, there was! Made my holiday, it was over 30 degrees every day and not washing my hair would’ve been hard.

The bathroom is very small and not very pleasant (a bit smelly) to use. There is a hard smell of paint coming from the commonplace (entry gate and stairs) which is very unpleasant.

The location-wise, this property is excellent. The boat station, gondola ride, marks square everything is within 5-10 min of walk. There are many good restaurants nearby the hotel/apartment. The owner is also a very nice person, whenever we call him, he was reachable and explained things nicely.

Would be helpful if there was a sign on the outside door saying 'suite dodge marcello' as Google maps is quite inaccurate in venice. Also there is no WiFi.

We didn't like the shower curtain which was a bit tricky to use but there was probably no other possibility how to cover the shower. Also, there are wooden stairs right above the bathroom. So when someone is going upstairs and if at night, you can "enjoy" the stomping. Fortunately, nobody was going up during the night.

Actually, while booking this apartment we were a bit worried because of the low price but in real we were literally excited! Great and quiet location just few steps from a supermarket and restaurants/bars...just everything what we needed. Close to everything. The room was spacious and there was a little kitchen (room) attached with chairs and a table. Btw, the owner probably never slept. Anytime he was available!

Not very clean. Bedding and towels smelt stale. Rugs were filthy. Shower was small and water was cold, also it didn't drain properly.

Most of the facilities did not work, TV, internet, the mirror light. The kettle was really dirty. The bedsheets were not fresh and neither the blankets.

Some people write about small bathroom – but: You stay in a historical house, that’s part of the game. Deal with it.

Big room with small kitchen and private bathroom, air condition. Right in the center (5 minutes walk with luggage from Rialto) of Venice, but still in a quiet street, so you can sleep well. Everything is perfectly close (monuments everywhere – you are in Venice, supermarket on the corner, many restaurants, cicchetti bars) even the main vaporetto stops (on one side Rialto, on the other one Fondamente Nove – direction Murano & Burano) and S. Marco square. Instructions from the landlord were absolutelly clear and no questions were problem. Really happy with this place.
