The staff was very nice and helpful and insured that we had a great stay. We had to leave early for a flight (about 6am) and were expecting to miss breakfast, but breakfast was out and ready and we were able to grab some togo food before our taxi ride.

I couldn’t quite figure the AC out but since it’s early May, there wasn’t a big need for it. Just opened the windows instead. They ask that you give your key to the reception when you leave for a longer period of time, which is totally fine, but they also tell you to just take your key when you get back if nobody’s the reception. It’s probably fine and there was pretty much always somebody at the reception but it did make me feel a bit like anybody could get the key to my room.

The staff were absolutely lovely! Location wise the hotel is a short walk to the main parts but in a nice, quiet residential area. The room was pretty basic but clean and comfortable. The garden was a nice touch even though we didn’t really spend time there. Breakfast was basic but nice.

This dog friendly hotel offers a convenient location, free parking and an excellent breakfast buffet with many homemade items. For dinner, although the menu is limited, the meals were delicious, prepared with fresh and regional ingredients. Best of all is the super friendly and helpful staff! We look forward to another trip to Viareggio and Hotel Spinelli.

really lovely cool garden and seated lounges at front entrance. Staff were very helpful and gave good local knows. Loved the bikes for hire so a ideal way to get the parks, beaches and Piazza. The buffet breakfast was really great, lots of fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries and cooked eggs, bacon, sausages, ham cheese etc also. Good size and refurbished rooms. Reasonably close walk to good eateries and canals and super yacht marinas I would definitely recommend Hotel Spinelli.

The hotel is relatively small but very comfortable. Rooms are of adequate size and clean. The breakfast was surprisingly good, and the coffee is just perfect! Very quiet location (not sure if in full season is the same).

The property is run and owned by a family and has been a hotel for a few decades. The owners are very pleasant and accommodating. The service offered is as if all customers are v.i.p. Staff are very pleasant and efficient and knowledgeable. A lot of thoughts and care have been put into every detail of this hotel. I found a lovely air refreshener in a shape of a heart hang in the wardrobe.

The room we got smelled like cigarette smoke, and the airconditioning did just enough (could have been stronger). But to be fair, we were there during the heatwave this summer, so very often you'll probably not need a stronger airconditioning. The view from the room was also nothing to speak of (roof and backyards of other people).

The staff were very nice and the breakfast was good. You have the option to take a coach directly to some sunbeds you can rent for the day, and those were good too!
