I liked EVERYTHING!

I needed a hotel for one night before flying out and chose Sonder due to its location and reviews. I was staying in a nice 2 bedroom Airbnb prior. They were more than accommodating. They had my room ready early, were informative, very kind and the room had a balcony to sit on and people watch. Very clean, spacious rooms with high ceilings and VERY secure. I will definitely be back!! All the staff were more than helpful! You won’t be disappointed. Very close to high rates affordable restaurants and walking distance to the colosseum, circus Maximus and more. I recommend Ar Monte in Testaccio.

We did prefer the first room we was in at the front of the hotel even though it was noisier as the balcony was overlooking the street. The second room was nice but you are overlooking the roof, there is no view as you are at the back of the hotel.

We did not have breakfast included in our booking but I did have breakfast a couple of times. There was a good choice for 15 euros and it was easy to book through reception. We did extend our 5 night stay by an extra 2 nights but could not have the same room as it had been booked. This was not a problem as we could leave our luggage in the lockers as we was heading out for the day.

The TV/Netflix didn’t work during our stay which was disappointing.

Good hotel, nice big room with a balcony. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Not too far from the centre probably about a 45 minute walk although there are buses passing the hotel. Nice restaurants in the area also.

The mini fridge does not cool anything unfortunately.

The bedroom is way more than I expecting, it is well decorated, clean, modern and beautiful. Despite a little incident with a missing bag by mistake when having room service, the staff was quick and very helpful, we were able to recover the missing bag. The breakfast is good, great options of pastries and fruits, and the whole hotel smells amazing.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable. The location is great, within walking distance to the city centre. The hotel is on a main road but very quiet. There's lots of nice restaurants in the area.

Smart TV could use an update for apps to work propperly, the coffee capsules could be refilled for every day, so I don’t have to take it from special cabinet on reception.

The busses at the surrounding busstops came really infrequent, the entrance area and elevator is extremely hot, fridge didn't work well, shower was a bit dirty, had to send my ID before the arrival (unsafe. I'd rather do it at check in)

They offer complimentary coffee in the reception, but the coffee was terrible. The machine didn't work properly. I'd rather have no coffee than a terrible one. Also I had many problems in the checking due to the bug in there system

AC noisy unit on the terrace. It was not possible to sit there any time, extremely too loud. Recommended not to take room with windows pointed at the market.

Staff, the hotel and the location

Very clean, super helpful and friendly staff and close to everything with either a short walk or short train ride. The place is well equipped and perfect for our stay and highly recommend staying at Sonder.

I found the experience with having to use Sonder's own digital platforms (website or app) for checking in very tedious and annoying. I don't understand why they made it so difficult and if you are on the go it is very inaccessible. I really didn't understand why it was necessary as you already have to fill in so much information on booking.com -- another thing is that this hotel is basically just one really long corridor, which means that if you're on the side between reception (in the middle) and elevator (front) you will have some noise complaints if you go to bed early or get up late. It wasn't too bad but maybe nice to know // nicer to stay in the back.

This hotel is located in a really great area if you're looking to be away from the crowdedness of Rome central but love to have the buzz of good restaurants and bars around. I really liked this area a lot, it felt safe and the area of the hotel also felt safe. Inside: the bed is comfy, nice decor and a great bathroom. I stayed here alone for 3 nights and had a great time.

That's was my best hotel experience yet! It was the lowest price available at the moment of booking, of course it's not the central location but with electric scooter it's 10 min to Coliseum! Huge bed, tv, coffee machine, mini bar, conditioner, balcony, spacious room and many more things what made staying comfortable. Big thanks for cleaning team, I appreciate your job! It's located 10 min away from train station, if you wanna go get sun to the coast. The reception staff was so welcoming, kind and positive what's make a nice atmosphere from the first day!

It is a little far from the centre but that's reflected in the price. It's 15 mins walk from the metro. The company (sonder) make you add the passport on their website and then ask at the hotel again which is a bit odd but that is really minor. Apart from that it was perfect.

Beautiful large room with a private terrace, very clean. Amazing mattress, air con, shutters on the windows. Staff were great going above and beyond for us. Near perfect place to stay in Rome.

This was my second stay at the property. This time, I was assigned unit #11, which is located right by the entrance hallway. Unfortunately, it was quite noisy due to the building's poor soundproofing. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection in this room was weak, a problem I did not encounter during my previous stay in a different unit.
