Everyone who works there is friendly, kind, and attentive. The check-in process was smooth and our host was very informative and helpful. It was great to have breakfast and coffee delivered to the room each morning, and they went out of their way to provide additional requests. The are many fantastic restaurants nearby and the location is very walkable. Highly recommend!

Our family of three had a fantastic week-long stay at SM Mellini Relais B&B in Rome. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained, providing a perfect retreat after our daily explorations. The staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and always available to offer help and advice, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the choice of breakfast, which was conveniently served in our room each morning. The location in the Prati district was perfect – quiet yet centrally located, with most attractions within walking distance. There were ample choices of nice restaurants nearby, adding to the overall experience. The building itself is beautiful, enhancing the charm of our stay. We highly recommend SM Mellini Relais B&B for anyone visiting Rome!

I really enjoyed my stay at SM Mellini Relais B&B. The room and the property were newly renovated and immaculately clean (it is a small B&B which occupies part of the second floor of a building) . I found the bed really comfortable. The staff were helpful and very friendly and Matteo’s communication was great. I arrived out of hours but everything was clearly explained and I had no issues accessing my room. I also really enjoyed the location. It was a short walk to most sites and the city centre but was in a quieter neighborhood. I highly recommend this property.

The sounds were a bit loud throughout the day and early in the morning starting at 7am. We were in a busy area in town so this is understandable. Just be aware to bring earplugs to help with adjusting the sleep schedule if needed to sleep after the flight. At nighttime it was quieter.

Beds were comfortable thank goodness! The location was great! The staff were wonderful especially Virginia! We had a perfect stay for our honeymoon and were very happy to have breakfast in our room each morning too. They went out of their was to ensure our stay was fantastic. I would definitely stay there again.

What is not to love? The B&B has a perfect location just across the Tiber in a more quiet part of Prati and has a wonderful design. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. It was no problem to check-in earlier, we got a lot of explanation about where the places to be were and how we could reach them and on our last day, we could leave our luggage for some hours after check-out. The breakfast is tasteful and there’s elaborate choice. This is definitely a great place to stay when you’re in Rome, I would highly recommend!

Almost nothing. The room is not that spacious for three. However we won’t complain as the size of the room was described exactly when we booked. Besides the ceiling is tall, featured with paintings, which makes room comfy and large.

Location is excellent. The area is safe and quiet, walking distance to most tourist attractions. Few good restaurants in different cuisine are nearby. Flat is clean, facilities are all in good condition. All staffs are friendly, helpful. The lady gave a short induction about the transports, restaurants and how to go to popular places and a local tourist map in the morning of our second day. The owner always gives prompt responses. We reported the battery of safer running low when we arrived, he replied immediately and got it fixed at the same day even it was late.

Just a small thing, the room are spacious (high ceilings) and become quite acoustic. The windows provide good shading, daj at night but are single (topical in warm countries), that let some noice from the nearby street. The hosts are also not responsible for the loud guests who do not care that they laughters are audible, door slamming etc. However, if you are a light sleeper like me bear that in mind and do not forget ear plugs. If your sleep is sound like my husband’s do not worry your rest will be uninterrupted.

This is a very welcoming place, very clean (rooms are cleaned everyday and towels changed) breakfast of your selection (the day before) comes to your room on a mobile table. If you wish they would provide additional things. It is a nice option if you like romantic breakfast in bed. Location superb in Prato close to the place from where you get a BusAhuttle for just 6,5€ per person 900 m from the Metro and just round the block from several buses that will Take you anywhere. Close to Vatican easy connection or within walkable distance to major attractions. Very close to S. Angelo and Piazza di Popollo. The host provides you with a helpful list off recommended restaurants and bars in Prato, Center and Trastevere, and also the list of attractions and info how to get there which is really nice. Very nice staff, in easy contact, self check in after 2 pm you get codes and enter everything is clearly explained in messages via WhatsApp. Comfortable room good size, simple furnishing but the bed was really comfy and the pillows super good. Nice bathroom, good lighting good selection of tv programs most Italian but you can find something or just log into your own Netflix account. Some nice restaurants nearby even a Michelin one that we recommend. Altogether a very good value for money in comparison to everything you get round here.
