Not much, everything was excellent. The speed of serving the various dishes was a bit high so that perhaps could take some more time.

I really have no complaints. The only thing I can think of is we weren't able to use their laundry service because they don't have a dryer. Our stay wasn't long enough to be able to line dry our clothes. But it wasn't that big of a deal for us.

The location right on the beach was fantastic. Just to be able to walk right out and get a couple of lounge chairs under an umbrella in the sand was heavenly. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a lovely view of the sea. Every single staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. And though we didn't have lunch or dinner in the hotel restaurant, the breakfast was really, really good and the bar was great in the evening. And we were able to rent bicycles one afternoon and ride around the Paestum Archeological Park which was awesome.

The hotel restaurant has a very limited choice for lunch and dinner and the food is not wonderful. We ate in one evening because we were tired but went out for the rest of the time.

Excellent location, right on a beautiful beach with clear waters. Free underground parking under the hotel. The rooms are comfortable even if in some the decor is rather dark and could do with updating. Good choice at breakfast.

There is a daily menu for lunch and supper but what annoyed me the most it had no price so at the end of our stay that’s where I’ll be surprised with the bill. Not very nice. Even though I’m paying I still want to know the prices of what I’m eating.

The main fantastic attraction was the front beach site right in front of the hotel good steps. The ocean was very warm and sandy. Not deep but enough to enjoy and relax.

The hotel rooms need to be updated. The rooms are large but seem to be aging. The hotel staff are wonderful but the two meals we had at the hotel (other than the lovely breakfasts) were ok but we found the restaurants we could bike to had better options and better quality.

Hotel Schumann has a private beach which is very nice. Our room overlooked the beach/water which was lovely. The hotel has a very nice breakfast included with the room. The hotel staff are very kind and super helpful. They arranged a taxi driver for us who spoke very little English but was a wonderful driver. One day he drove us to Positano for a day trip - very narrow and difficult road but he expertly navigated the road. The hotel has bikes for use which were great for exploring the area including the outstanding archeological ruins about a mile from the hotel. The cost of the hotel was very reasonable.

There was a smell of smoking in the bathroom, could be quieter - hearing guests in the rooms next door.

The room was very large and with a beautiful view. Some issues with the soundproofing of the room, we could easily hear other people talking and babies crying from other rooms.

The coffee in the morning. That was probably the biggest let down. The restaurant was a bit pricey, and I didn't want to spend 100 Euros every night for a family of 4 - so we ate out every evening.

The beach at this hotel is second to none on this stretch. Private, and the sunset every night directly across from the hotel makes this a stunning location. The breakfast was not great, and there was an extremely limited selection of cold breakfast options, with no hot food. But I think this is probably down to the fact that we were there out of season. One thing that is unforgivable is instant coffee. Especially in Italy! Just made sure to order an espresso and NOT an Americano. We will be going back, though. without a doubt.

Fabulous. We were super impressed by how green and sustainable this hotel is. They produce all their own electricity and the local area benefit from it during the off season. Amazing breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful private beach. Just stunning.

Recently renovated, roomy, squeaky-clean room overlooking the beach. Staff was friendly, accommodating, spoke very good English (not common in southern Italy). White tablecloth restaurant with excellent food and professional wait staff. Free breakfast could not have been better if I paid for it. Simone at the desk and Mario at the bar are rock stars. And all of this for a price that was more than reasonable. As close to a perfect hotel stay as I can remember.

Very nice room with the sea view. Hotel is on the beach! The best beach where we were in South-Italy. Very good restaurant. If you have car, there are very nice historical place Paestum and near there are the best pizza place.
