A small grumble was the size of the swimming pool. For the size of the hotel it was on the small side. Once used by 4 or 5 people it was difficult to find a place to swim. Being charged for a towel was unusual compared to all the other places we have stayed in Italy.

Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, including a fridge and tea making facilities. Breakfast was excellent. Good choices of bread, pastries and perfect scrambled egg and bacon. The restaurant was lovely and we had a delicious meal. The service was exceptional.

Maybe finishing the breakfast half an hour later could help people having to deal with jet lag. The line for drying clothes in the bathroom was not working, and was not repaired in time for my stay. This is an excellent hotel if you have a car, but it is a bit away from the city which may not be convenient if you are in Bologna for business. However, there is a bus line that takes you to the business district within a short waking distance should you prefer this.

I have returned many times to the Savoia, and this short stay again met my expectations. The room was comfortable, and the staff were accomodating to requests. Breakfast was great. The gym has been renovated, but still feels a bit minimalist, with not a lot of equipment. I did not use the pool, but it looked very nice. Parking was ample, and free.

The hotel is outside the historic center but easy to get to.

The hotel is large and lovely. We were upgraded to two beautiful suites, each with a private hot tub on the patio. Very nice breakfast as well. Good restaurant on site.

Excellent breakfast - especially the bread! The restaurant offered some first class dishes in really attractive surroundings. The pool made a big difference to our stay, providing a sense of community and friendly atmosphere, as well as a means of cooling off in the 35 degree heat.

- Location was ok with easy access from autostrada and relatively easy access by taxi to the city centre. - Very clean hotel and rooms. - Private parking. - Breakfast was ok. - The hotel restaurant, Garganelli, was good although a bit pricey.

Hotel was far away from downtown Bologna.

Beautiful facility and grounds. We had a huge veranda all to ourselves that overlooked the swimming pool. And we had an amazing view from our room. Rooms were neat and clean and well appointed. Hotel was impressive - large common area, very nicely decorated. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We had dinner at the hotel in a lovely dining room overlooking the grounds and fountain.

This was our second visit to Savoia Hotel Regency and it was just as good as the first. This is a quality property from facilities to staff! The Regency title is absolutely appropriate as it feels like a grand and majestic property. We will be back!

Very clean, good food & drinks. Location is by e-bike 15 min from centre which cost 2 euro. (Or take a taxi which is 13 euro). Room was clean with perfect aircondition. Great breakfeast and coffee.
