Shower temperature was not stable. Bedroom was not warm enough and the bed sheet was very thin. A/C did not work properly, when i turned the temperature up it did not work.

Bathroom poorly designed and difficult to use. Shower head more than 2 meters high. Unreachable to adjust for an average height person. Water from Shower and sink running down onto the floor. Wet floor equals risk of sleeping and injury. Extremly tight entrance into the shower cubicle.

We couldn't have a late check-in, even though there were rooms available (I had checked online). I'm used to staff that goes above and beyond in Italy.

It seem as it has oversleeped few decades and is desperate for renovation. San Valentino is a great hotel but needs a lot of improvements. Painting the walls, refurbishing and chainging that improvised furniture would be a great start. Rooms are rather dark and small as well as bathroom. There is a problem of waiting for warm water but I didn’t mind it since the weather was extremely hot.

It is situated in the best location and the best hotel if you compare value for money. Sufficently cleaned rooms and quite comfortable bed with a complementary fridge. Staff is really caring and helpfull all the time.

No breakfast service and no waiting room or relax place to stay except the room

The stay was fairly good. We experienced a couple of issues: frist the toilet flashing water did not work one day, this issue was fixed immediately at the reported day. However, the bathroom was left dirty after the repair. After the third day, the bed sheet turned dirty and the hotel explained that it will be only replaced after the third night. The AC turned to error, no colling was possible. We slept without cooling until our insistence to leave the hotel. It was only a matter of other rooms that set their AC wrongly.

The aircon was making some loud noises, I did report them via whatsapp but I guess it was quite late, we just turned it off and opened the windows, however, it was still very hot in the room. There was no hot water at night. Not sure if it was just our room. We showered with cold water :(

It says there is electric kettle provided but nothing in our room. It also says airport shuttle can be arranged but when we asked for drop off, it was not arranged for us.

The facility is old, and the room and its bathroom were a bit small.

The hotel is a very good value for money, it's located in one of the best areas of Rome. A metro station is less than a minute walk, and bus stations are all around. You can walk to the historic center and the vatican in less than 15 minutes, and the area is full of restaurants, bars and shopping.

It is very noisy during the night. Vehicles could be heard easily passing on the street and it s not ideal for a light sleeper.

The bathroom had a leak for majority of the stay. Very small room and smelt of cigarette smoke on a few days (probably came from next door). Not sound proof. We had to give our key to reception staff every time we left the place, which was hanging on a wall/ visible at reception. When we asked for the keys to the room every night they didn’t check if our name matched the keys. More security is needed for this.

The location was excellent, lots of restaurants and cafes nearby and close to Vatican. Safe and beautiful area.

The rooms are in a need for refurbishment and renovation, one had to wait a lot for the hot water to run and it kept changing from too hot to too cold. There seemed to be an issue with the plumbing. Too much noise from other rooms and the corridor.

The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast and coffee were delicious. The location was great (close to the metro station and bus connections, walking distance from the Vatican, lot of restaurants, cafes and grocery stores nearby), it was also in a relatively quiet neighborhood, far away enough from the very busy city center.

The refrigerator was not cold. But the water in the shower in the first half of the day was ice cold.

Perfect location, nice area with great restaurants (must visit Chopstick Prati), and mini shops. Metro station 100 meters away. Walk to the Vatican.

The pillow was really high for us, the walls were crazy thin, you could hear everything and the hot water wouldn’t always work.
