the place is comfortable, in front of the beach, near the station, but boring, lifeless. Because of the unbearable noise from the trains passing around the clock, we had to leave the next day. The breakfast corresponds to the level of the hotel. The staff does not speak enough English, otherwise they are polite .

Would have appreciated a kettle to make a cup of tea.

We particularly appreciated the spectacular view over the ocean. Place was easy to find, but was quite a walk from train station. Many restaurants along the shore/promenade. This family run hotel has its own restaurant downstairs, good prices. Great location for aparetivo in afternoon. Lovely swimming areas with warmer weather, especially with little children. Visited beginning of June. Luggage storage was freely available.

Great location on the beach front and easy walk from station. This is a value for money Pensione style accomodation. It doesn’t over promise and is the best beach front deal going. Rooms are adequate.

It is a bit expensive for an old hotel, but comparable to other similar places nearby.

Hotel is on the beach. Good for relaxing holiday. Parking was not to hard to find and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I couldn’t use the hairdryer because the plug wasn’t right for the socket. I couldn’t open or close the curtain I had to hold the showerhead in my hand because there was not a shower holder on tge wall

The luggage storage is in the hallway. You leave your suitcase unattended, without a lock or a door. So outsiders eating at the restaurant or other guests or even random people entering the place (they never checked) could have gone inside. Chiavari is very safe, but it seems it's not a big investment to have an actual storage room if you offer that service. Plus, from what we heard from other guests, the hotel does not have a parking area, so you must pay to park in the streets if you find a spot available.

We booked a room with a sea view! Definitely a must! We loved the location and waking up by the sea. Perfect location if you want to sunbathe! Heads up: Pebble beach. We would love to come back! Ps. We stayed during weekdays, but it's probably very noisy during weekends and the holiday season because of the restaurants nearby.

The hotel itself, but matches the price and my expectations. Breakfast costs like ~ 5 euros, but I won't take it next time. In my opinion, it is very scarce, croissants should be asked for, and there is no choice. I'd rather go to one of the dozens of restaurants nearby

Location. In the season when you are mostly outdoors, and you only need a hotel to spend the night, this hotel is an excellent option for the price, you do not have to overpay for an expensive hotel if you are almost not there. Located on the 1st lane, in the city, next to the promenade along the beach, the sea and the city.

Modest room and amenities, it’s an old building that hasn’t been renovated in a while. I had much better stays in Italy at this price, therefore this seemed to be overpriced. Not very flexible for a late checkout, even though the room was not occupied that day.

The furnitures are getting old and the room was fairly small but it was expected for the price.

Really nice people at the counter and breakfast! Felt welcome! The room with see view was clean. The bed was confortable. I could get all my heavy luggages up with the elevator, that was really nice too. I feel it's the best deal for a one/two nights stay over there.

I did not have a beach view, I had a train/playground view. My room was clearly a handicap room and the bed was very uncomfortable. There was standing water on the bathroom floor when I arrived. The pictures I looked at while booking were completely different from what I got. I asked staff to switch rooms but they would not let me. I am 24 years old and I was forced to stay in a handicap room which I did not book. The room had one little plug in fan.

It was close to the water but I was supposed to have a beach view which I did not.

The bed was very uncomfortable. The wifi does not work in the room. The shower door was broken. There was construction on the beach (in May) so it would have been nice if they put a disclaimer on booking.com.

The friendly staff. The restaurant had a really good menu. The location is great. They come to clean the room every day.

The property needs urgent refurbishment. No attention is spent to this hotel. Everything is very old and used.

Unfortunately the only positive aspect was the nice lady at the reception.
