Host tried to fob us off with an alternative sub standard room, quoting "broken water heater" in new building. We complained and we're moved back to the booked accommodation after an hours wait. Can t complain though, after that everything was fine and the host was actually quite responsive and quick to address other small issues like stuck sink plug hole and lack of toilet paper.

Newly refurbished so nice room and bathroom. Kitchen OK too, nice big clean fridge and good cooking facilities. I even got a wash done as good patio for drying.

The owners don't speak English, so communication was difficult. Wi-fi had constant problems. We also had problems with the lock on the main door.

I had to wait for a confirmation to this place. I had asked for a triple room as I wanted a room with single beds each. The confirmation came back but for a double. The bed was double; the room was like a prison cell, totally different from the pictures online. I met another woman who also had asked for a triple and was lumped into a double. The bathroom is not ensuite but across a corridor with a separate key. The main portone would not open We were left fiddling at 3 am Worst the charged us twice for the city tax. The mattress was dirty and bobbly with no mattress protector on it.

This is right round the corner from the Vatican. Excellent location.

It was a terrible experience, they transferred us to another building the next day with 3 more rooms and a couple of other people, we had 2 bathrooms for 10 people!

Hard to communicate the staff. And elevator that time was broken. I need to ask favor with my cousin who can speak italian. And ask favor about my 3 luggaes going down due to broken elevator. Yes she got someone to help but that was a long discussion. Very frustrating

Pillows felt like they were filled with balls of cotton. The mattress was bad. I worked while traveling on vacation. I make calls using WiFi. Every day in the evening, I heard the hotel employees or owners talking loudly in the hallway. IMPORTANT: One evening, while working, one of the employees knocked on my room door. I answered and he asked me if there was a blanket under the bed. This made no sense though… Every morning the staff came into the room and made the bed and cleaned up the space, so they should have looked for the blanket then. Take note that I had been in the hotel for a few days already. They didn’t ask me if the could come in, he just asked if there was a blanket and walked on in. Also note that’s it’s the middle of summer… why would someone be traveling with a blanket? Next, I hear them knocking on the other room door and telling them that “it’s an emergency”. Not knowing Italian, I’m not sure what the employees were speaking of, or what was going on, but there was no reason to come into the room or to disturb me. They could have messaged via booking.com. I’m believe that if I had not been in the room at the time that they would have entered without my knowing or permission. Very odd and off putting.

the property was shared and this was not disclosed anywhere. over priced for the place. sink was dirty with two beer bottles in the sink and glasses. we arrived to the address and the host drove us to another location. I want a full refund!

Overall the room and bathroom was dirty, a mess and the stay was horrible. The toilette didn’t work, flushing was not possible. Just turning on a tab to let slowly new water in (definitely no standard I‘ve seen so far). Hair on the floor, bad smell in the whole apartment, shower dirty and and no working elevator. We only spent 20 minutes there and decided to leave this dump. We contacted the hotel and claimed that the room is dirty and the toilet not working properly. The only answer we got is that’s a lie and everything’s fine.

The hotel was very good located nearby Vatican City and easy to find

1) Bad smell from the bath tubes, disgusting. No perfume or other flavours change that. 2)Noise isolation between the rooms is bad , you can hear everything, I heard all the time the baby cry and how man speak on the phone 3) internet didn’t work at all , though it was free 4) no reception who you can ask for help or share feedback 5) no breakfast proposed , no such a variant . No even drinking water in the room 6) shower required maintenance
