The cot initially provided for our 2 year old son was a next to me crib but this was swiftly resolved by Roberto so couldn’t really complain.

Roberto the host is amazing, he is very kind and worked hard to address any questions or issues we had during the stay. He speaks limited English but was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make the stay great. Breakfast included is a nice touch. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with nice features.

It's not a dislike - but in Matera, be prepared to climb the stairs. Good shoes and using a back back baggage, It's helpful when using the stairs.

Host very helpful and helped us to orientat to Matera. Room minimalistic and we'll decored, pillows very comfortable. It is situated in the centre of Sassi Di Matera surrounded by bars & restaurant but still quite rooms.

Nothing - everything was wonderful.

The location was perfect, the views of this magical city were enough to make me want to extend my stay if I could. Roberto was very attentive and hospitable. The room was comfortable and had all of the amenities that I would expect when traveling. A 10 out of 10!

Roberto is very welcoming and taking time to explain how to visit the Sassi, the house, your room. The place is very centered, with a nice terrace facing the cathedral. Very comfy and modern the room is perfect. Very comfy mattress. Breakfast is a plus, nice croisant and coffee, juice and yogurt. Perfect.

Roberto, the host was the highlight of the stay. The room on the other hand was the most comfortable, clean and supplied. Definitely will visit Matera again and stay there. Ps: Order the pistachio croissant for breakfast for the full experience :D

It was all great, we went during a heatwave and the air-conditioning wasn't powerful enough, but I think on all other situations it should have coped well.

The breakfast was great, I'm glad they offer the service because the nearest caffe is quite far! I also really like the room and the location, right in the middle of the sassi. I especially liked the owner who did all that was possible to make us feel at home.

Incredible property. The flat was extremely spacious, clean and equipped with everything possible. Decorated well with special touch to design - modern yet in keep with traditional features. Host was extremely welcoming and hospitable, and gave recommendations to visit and to dine. Will be coming back as soon as we can!

Enjoyed my start here and in Matera so much that I came back! Amazing rooms and just fantastic location, right in the middle of the very atmospheric old town, surrounded by wonderful restaurants and cobblestone streets and alleys to explore.

The facility is right in the center of Matera, the suitcases have to be carried by hand for about ten minutes on the cobblestones because cars can't get in. But isn't that the beauty of Matera?

The rooms are very nice, clean, neat. The owner Roberto was very helpful and kind, always present from the beginning of the reservation. The facility has a beautiful little terrace from which to view Matera and have aperitifs at sunset lights.

We have a very comfortable stay in this modern flat. The location is top, the terrace, the jasmine flowers...Roberto is a perfect host. He helped us with advice for the transportation to and from Matera, show us some good places for food and sightseeing. Grazie mille, Roberto!

Beautiful location right in the middle of the Sassi. The shared rooftop has an amazing view - especially beautiful at night. A really special stay, would recommend!

the only thing that let it down slightly is the advertised breakfast is just a few cartons of juice and some biscuit type things. I think it would be more transparent to not say breakfast is included.
