The bathroom wasn’t that clean, there was a huge dead moth in the shower tray when we arrived and the shower drain was a bit discoloured. My partner tried to open a curtain and the whole thing fell down. He then tried to open a window/shutters and the window came off the hinges. The front sitting area was filthy when we arrived. I do think this was likely because there was a tree above it dropping lots of bits, however, it felt like it might have been swept/cleared a day or two before and then not checked again. A full length mirror in the room would also be a welcome addition as there was only one small mirror in the bathroom which was quite dimly lit. We planned to use the restaurant on one night of our stay, the first night we decided to go out to explore but then morning of the second day we were notified via text message that the restaurant was shut that evening for an event and the subsequent day was the staff’s day off, I feel like we could have been given a bit more advanced warning of that and we might have planned differently. The pool is only open from 2pm - 9pm so no opportunity for a morning swim which was disappointing. I think the bones of this place are great but there were quite a lot of finishing touches which were missed. It felt like it was newly opened (not sure if this is accurate). Overall a nice stay but a few areas of improvement for me personally.

The space was beautiful and large, the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of foods available.

I guess the regular Italian bread is not very special - like here. We had once in a week holiday in Italy fresh crispy bread, but also that was white. The.matras had a small dent in it.

The choose for meat and cheese at the breakfast buffet. I like sweet, but after a few days of a lot of sweet Italian breakfast cakes, meat and cheese was very welcome.

When we were there (1st of May), the pool was closed and under renovation, but probably it will be amazing when it will be available.

We really like the vibes of this place. Even though it is a little bit of track, once you get there is amazing. Great people, fantastic restaurant and nice surroundings.

We had intended to have dinner in the on-site restaurant but the hotel had decided to close it for the season the week before we arrived, without putting this on the website, which meant we had to drive into Porto Cesareo at night. Air-con broke down at about 6am and the noise woke us up, then the room got very hot. When we mentioned this upon check-out, the staff were not particularly apologetic and in the end - grudgingly - gave us a small refund.

Beautiful masseria about 20 minutes drive outside Porto Cesareo. We'd booked a Deluxe room with terrace and were blown away by how gorgeous the room was, huge, with a vaulted ceiling and enormous four-poster bed, excellent dramatic lighting and so much storage space. Air-con was surprisingly good for such a huge space, although the bathroom wasn't covered and so got very hot. Lovely private terrace for sitting out on at night. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Public areas were beautiful and a good-sized swimming pool too. Easy parking. Good wi-fi.

The pool opens at 2 pm. The furniture and the floor in the room was a bit old.

We were happy overall. The property is large and would need a lot of upkeep so was a little bit tired.

Flies everywhere, by the pool, in the rooms… bedbugs also, my feet were full of bites, better upkeep is deffinetly needed

Very nice old masseria, you should deffinetly have dinner there, the restaurant at night is full of people from town, the food prices are ok, unfortunately we went to town and ate, only to discover the beautiful restaurant latter, I wish they would have told us at check in…

Basic rooms which for the price charged didn’t feel like best value for money. Swimming pool outdated and no outdoor shower. Breakfast limited.

The amazing buildings and the awesome breakfast. The staff were super helpful. A wonderful relaxing place after travelling for 3 weeks. We booked 1 night extended to 3. The restaurant was superb too

- We didn't get the room we asked (even though we booked it 2 months in advance) - We got a room that was not listed - 2 single beds instead of one double - Breakfast can be improved - The last minute price was 60% less than what we paid.

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere but the food wasn't anything special.

Stopped here for 2 nights to rest up on our 3 week vacation in Puglia. Couldn't have made a better choice. Comfy beds. Large rooms. Relaxing atmosphere. Very quiet. Located near beaches yet still in the countryside. Nice breakfast. Large bathrooms. Restaurant on site for dinner. Great value.

Unfortunately the night we stayed, there was a wedding so at 3 o’clock in the morning they start shooting fireworks, which make us very scared and especially our little baby. The bathrooms could get a little restore an update iU

Daniela the receptionist who welcomed us was very nice and makes you feel like at home. The structure is full of historical assets, which it makes disputes very traditional. They gave us a nice spacious room which made our state very pleasant. The restaurant is really elegant and with a very good service.

There were very much wasps and ants near the pool and room. Pool is open from 3pm-9pm. We had like 50 ants in the room (near the door) Also the air conditioning didn’t work that good and the shower floated all over the bathroom. On top of that, they increased the prices in the restaurant as from Sunday to Tuesday with more than 10% because of the so called “August tendency”. Food was okay but not outstanding compared to the other places we’ve been to in Puglia. Breakfast is okay. However, all hams and cheeses were sweating because of the the heat outside and there was no cooling/airconditioning.

The property was very romantic. The rooms and the restaurant were very romantic too. Private parking lot which was great. People are friendly.

wish we could have scored a larger room , we stayed in a simple double room and shared the bed with our son since this was the only available option but it was still worth it since the surrounding facilities are so beautiful

The second bedroom narrow single bed mattresses were very thin so uncomfortable. The single sheets were missing. The AC in the hallway worked exceptionally well so it cooled down the room with the single beds. The AC in the double room wasn't as efficient so the room remained warm during the night. The temps this June are unseasonably hot🔥 all over Italy.

The room we had was very simple but it was clean and comfortable. I regret we did not get a terrace on the roof. The poll opens at 2pm! That is very late if you travel and move every day. What a pitty...

The whole property is amazing. We felt like in an old museum! The old dinning room with a quite, green terrace by the pool was beautiful. The breakfast was rich with sweet and salty food. Plenty of fruit and great coffee.

Great if the pool were open all day, its a really nice spot.

Beautiful place to stay, so convenient to the coastline, but very peaceful. The interconnected family room was just brilliant, so great to have that amount of space and with lovely furnishings. The breakfast was a real highlight, plentiful, delicious and gorgeous courtyard to sit in. Very friendly welcome from the staff. I don't understand why other reviews have been so critical. It's an excellent place to stay.

The location is terrific...easy driving in & out of Porto Cesareo, nice restaurants both in town & at the Masseria. The location is close to Gallipoli, Lecce, Santa Maria di Leuca & Otranto. The beaches nearby are incredible... and we live near the Bahamas, so we are spoiled with perfect beaches and their nearby beaches here are the best in Salento. You can relax at this masseria... Nature around you ... Quiet & Peaceful. Very Good Breakfast.

Woman at breakfast was rude. Breakfast options were poor. The pool wasn't open until the afternoon.

The staff at the reception was very friendly and even let us check in early. Our room was big and spacious with a wonderful terrace.
