The curtains had fallen out of the wall and were left stuffed in the chair when I arrived; later someone came to collect them. The leather chair was a bit torn and the rug needed cleaned to remove spots.

The location is perfect! It’s right on a major shopping street, next to the Duomo, and a short walk to major attractions. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was cooled enough by the AC/ fan in the summer. Bathroom was nice with good shower (size, water pressure, shower heads). The room had everything I needed and was spacious enough for just me (single room). I like the keyless access because I didn’t have to worry about losing a room card and checkout was very easy.

This place is located in an excellent area, making it convenient for exploring the city. The room was clean, nicely furnished, and provided a comfortable stay. Overall, I had a very good experience and would recommend this place to others looking for a pleasant stay in the area.

My only reservation about my room is that I felt I paid at least 15-20% too much for a single bed especially since I was there in May so not during the prime summer period. It is worth noting that this is a contact-free hotel so I never encountered a single staff member and I’m not sure how I would have felt if there’d been anything go wrong. The property includes at least one other hotel on different levels as well as a bar and restaurant so the main access doors were always open and as a single traveller, I did wonder about the safety of the stairwell at night time. That said, I felt incredibly safe on the streets of Florence.

The location is key as the property is perfectly, centrally located and, although there were complimentary ear plugs in the room, the only noise of note was the chiming of the bells from the duomo bell tower and another nearby church each morning. The property is very near to the Arno as well as to all the cultural institutions and all key attractions were within walking distance, except for the airport. The elevator was also a key to making this stay a good one. The room itself was small although all that you could need was included and the amenities, linens etc were all of a very good standard. The property is surrounded by excellent restaurants and cafes, as well as high-end designer stores, and there are plentiful options for souvenirs and local artisanal goods and produce as well as vendors selling local silk and cashmere scarves and leather goods on the streets. I arrived by taxi and the driver was able to drop me at the door.

The room looked a bit dark comparing to bright photos, the walls could be re-painted.

The location is perfect if you like to stay in the city centre. I was a bit worried about the noise, but the room (on the 3rd floor) was very quiet with closed windows. There were some earplugs provided, but there was no need to use them. It might be different during the summer when you want the opened windows so be cautious about that. The bathroom was very clean and spacious with very good water pressure, bed was comfortable.

Facilities were not good. Why? A room for 2 persons and only one chair. Tea is there, but lack of water boiler makes it ironic. Air-condition doesn't work, and we couldn't find any information about how it is working.

The picture you see is real. The property is 30 seconds away from the main attraction (Duomo). It’s also walking distance to most other places and you can shop, dine, drink.. all within a max of 10-minute radius walk. It’s also less than a 45 minute walk to the sunset spot at Piazzale Michelangelo. Close to the train station so if you’re not heavy on luggage, it’s a 15-20 minute walk.

Not much to dislike about the experience, I've not been through the totally online experience before but it worked well without any issues, I wasn't overly enamoured with the decor but that's down to my personal taste.

It was in the middle of parts of the main city and near public transportation. The space was good for one night and they were very accommodating for a short notice reservation.

We were mostly out whole day. And when we get back to the room, I did noticed sewage smell in the bathroom when you first get inside. And second, the kitchen window doesn’t have any window treatment(curtains or blinds) so the room doesn’t get dark at night even though the room itself has blackout curtains. The streets lamps outside are very bright. Not a deal breaker, I would recommend this place and stay again. 😊

If you're looking for peace and quiet, this might not be the right place. I could hear the city noise and especially the other guests.

The location is unbeatable - right next to the Duomo. I could even see it from my room! The room and facilities were simple but it was comfortable and everything i needed was there. The access without staff worked well.
