Breakfast pastries run out way before breakfast time ended. If breakfast time set 8 to 10 all menu items should be available during those hours. Other then that stuff was responsive and quick

The room is located towards the main street, so there was noise from the street and bars downstairs. Room doors tremble when another door opens in the building.

Comfortable bed. Option to have a buffet breakfast on the terrace.

the rooms were large and spacious and the beds comfortable. Being an historical building, the height of the bathroom ceilings in our room was limited (I am 1.85) but it can be managed and does not detract from the experience. Personnel was extra helpful and kind, and satisfied all our needs just like in a five-star hotel... Breakfast was of a superior level. Surrondings are nice and shops and restaurants are within a short walk (ligh lunches can be had just next door to the hotel). You can easily park in the surrondings of the hotel (their parking is a bit complicated to be joined).

Honestly, there was nothing that we did not like. Perhaps, early in the morning, the noise from the street, when the garbage was collected... But, the location of the hotel is good.

It's a small but cosy hotel with 8 rooms, a few meters from the bridge that leads to the Historic Center. You can park for free, at the back side of the hotel. We were offered a room with a double and a single bed, after requesting for 2 beds. I find that excellent service. The room was spotless, spacious and obviously looked after. The whole building is recently painted, with marble floors and elegant details. Their breakfast is absolutely fantastic. There is the possibility to sit on the roof outside, or inside the dining area. They have variety with boiled eggs, bakon, all types of yogurt, fresh fruit, and lots of choices for your bread. Of course, the typical Italian Cornetos, and even pancakes and waffles! And lovely coffees or tea. Everyone that worked at the hotel was friendly and always with a smile. We really enjoyed our stay, we totally recommend this hotel.

Sea view room was very noisy because under the window was a main road and a bar. In September the bar was continuous noisy until 3 am. Large room but only one chair and no packing surface.

    Close to the old town.

Shower had no door or curtain hence the whole room got pretty wet and the room was out to a side street on which there was some loud music playing quite late into the night with the windows and the bathroom’s ventilation not being well soundproofed unfortunately.

Lovely place very central and close to old town Gallipoli on the main strip. Room was large and had a comfortable bed. Everything was clean and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Lovely rooftop terrace.

Every morning we had an amazing breakfast prepared by Angela. She was exceptional. She specifically brought oat milk for us, because she knew we preferred it even though Palazzo Vergine already offered soy milk. What amazing service and care!

Wanda and her colleagues have been so lovely and friendly. They helped us with renting a scooter and bikes or making a reservation in restaurants cause we don’t speak Italian. The rooms had everything we needed and the breakfast was small, but delicious and totally enough for us. The location is also great in the center and you can reach the old town in only 5min walk. It’s a little bit load by night cause the people are partying outside very long. But for us it was no Problem and we slept very well. I would definitely come back to Wanda’s place :)

Someone had to come from another location to open the hotel and reception desk. Another guest who was just coming out let me in. I was given a room adjoining the roof terrace and had to carry my luggage up 54 steps. There was no elevator and no help was offered. It’s just as well my 83-year-old health is pretty good, but I don’t think my doctor would have approved. The hotel does not have its own parking but I was recommended to try round one of the back streets. WiFi came on briefly the next morning but was mostly unavailable. It wasn’t exactly the ‘Palace’ (Palazzo) I had expected.
