We loved everything about the apartment except the sofa. It looks nice, but it doubles up as a bed so with the solid frame folded up underneath it’s as hard as a rock. Maybe a memory foam topper could transform it. To be fair it wouldn’t put me off returning as this really is a lovely apartment at a very reasonable price.

Loved our stay right in the centre of the charming old town of Assisi. Apartment was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean throughout. The lady who looked after us was so friendly and helpful. (She left us a lovely jam tart!) The shutters kept the bedroom really dark at night so we slept very well. Fantastic memory foam mattress and pillows too. Well equipped kitchen and a big Smart TV. It was quite cool weather over our stay and we were happy to find that the heating was very efficient. We only needed it on for short bursts to keep us cosy.

It was a perfect bijou apartment for 2, very clean, quiet and comfortable in a wonderful location. We loved the sheltered balcony for breakfast, which also offered full sun later in the afternoon. Our host was friendly and attentive, and very quick to respond to any questions, going out of her way to make us welcome including leaving a fresh tart on arrival and providing a full change of towels midweek. We felt very at home, like valued guests.

When you have a small space but still manage to include every possible amenity in fine detail and all of it immaculately clean, then you are in Residenza Porta Perlici

it was really hot outside during our stay, the property was not hot but didn't have AC. Fans were needed. There wasn't a lot of natural daylight coming in to the living area.

Location was fantastic, property was beautiful dating back to medieval times with walls 2 feet thick. The host was fantastic and supper helpful.

The apartment is beautiful, the decor is very cute, it's very clean and really well located. Walking distance to the main plaza, the basilica, the churches, and great restaurants. Very easy to get to from the main train station. Morena the host was fantastic. She's also a 10/10. She always wants to make sure your stay is the best possible and goes above and beyond to make it happen.

Nothing at all to dislike

Liked everything about the apartment. Perfectly clean, spacious and well organized . Wood floors, roomy shower, comfortable large beds in both bedrooms. The host was responsive and solicitous and friendly. The location is perfect, very near the large car park, quiet, 5 minute walk to main piazza and markets, easy walk to St Francis Basilica and Large Fort overlooking all Assisi. Can’t imagine a better place to stay in Assisi !

If washing machine is there, it is perfect.

Clean and comfortable rooms with necessary facilities. Owners are very kind and received us with hospitality. They arranged taxi to visit the apartment and to go to the station after checking out.

Absolutely nothing negative!

Incredibly nice and tastefully decorated, very ancient apartment with all the comforts of home. We loved it so much, that instead of staying two days, we stayed a week! Beautiful and energetic couple available for suggestions and help anytime. Our favorite stay in Italy so far!!! Perfect location for quiet (very small street) but also just a moments walk into the beauty and inspiration of Assisi!

Could add a few hooks in bathroom on which to hang towels or bathrobes.

Lovely location with nearby parking lot. Two very nice local restaurants nearby. Apartment and decor very much in keeping with Assisi. Loved having a balcony. Best of all was our hostess! She was so welcoming and attentive to all of our needs. Would be more than happy to return again !!

Amazing apartment and host in Assisi! We were greeted by the host and her friend to guide us to parking and share information about the apartment and Assisi. The apartment was beautiful!! To make this apartment a 6 star would be toilet roll dispensers/holders, hooks on bathroom doors and flyscreens on windows. Apart from these preferences it was a really lovely place to stay.

Loved the location. At the top of Assisi, the apartment was spotless, had every modern convenience, very tastily decorated , 2 large bedrooms, ensuite and separate bathroom, lounge/kitchen. The host was amazing, very friendly and extremely helpful.

Location in old Assisi town. Apartment design and aesthetic. It has been tastefully decorated. Spacious rooms. Although it had no AC, it was cool throughout on a hot summer day due to the thick walls.
