We are a fit and able couple but would have to say its a bit of a treck into the centre of town all up hill. So may not suit less able bodied and you would need to drive

Our stay was fantastic all around. We could list everything the hotel has to offer as a positive. However, we were especially impressed by the exceptional regional and diverse breakfast, as well as the friendliness and warmth shown to us by everyone. The host was more knowledgeable than Google and very helpful. Perfect location, beautiful outdoor area, pool, and one of the most stunning views. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended, and we would come back anytime.

Hello, we were very satisfied at the hotel. The attitude of the owners was great, clean rooms, excellent food, pleasant interior and outdoor pool. The owner of the facility was also very helpful with questions about the possibility of trips and monuments in the area. He was also well prepared in terms of maps, brochures and practical advice. The stay was perfect, so I can warmly recommend it.

The area of the hotel was tricky without the aide of taxis, as there were two major concerts in Volterra and all taxis were pre booked. That was no reflection on the hotel as Luca accommodated for the situation.

The pool was great as certain hotels in the area didn’t have pools, Luca, the owner was more than accommodating, taking me into Volterra free of charge. Offered different pillows options and mattress topper if needed. All the food at breakfast was top quality and locally grown.

A wonderful stay! I'd give it a 5 star rating! Luga, the owner, is passionate about helping his guests get the best experience while staying at his villa. The breakfasts were amazing. A beautiful view from our room. A terrific pool to go into after a day of nearby sightseeing. Our visit exceeded our expectations and I highly recommend staying here while visiting Tuscany.

Everything was great. An upgrade to the bathroom and nice soap would make it perfect.

The staff were very attentive. We especially liked the recommendations given to us to get to know the area. The breakfast was outstanding and the swimming pool was a treat. We totally recommend it!

we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We were sorry we didn’t spend another night in Volterra and definitely return again. The accommodation was perfect for our needs with a lovely pool area to relax and a super breakfast spread. In addition to eggs and all kinds of goodness I enjoyed a very delicious tiramisu cheesecake (yes for breakfast) sooooo good.

The AC in my room would be quiet then loud then quiet then loud. The decor is a little dated but that didn’t take away the beauty of the place.

It had everything that was needed. Friendly staff. The gentleman who owns the hotel was fantastic and even drove us up to the main part of the town and back in the evening. The breakfast was fantastic. A delicious array of things to choose from. The swimming pool was perfect, great temperature and size too. The views are incredible.

Best breakfast ever! Many, many choices of home made local gourmet dishes that changed every day expertly prepared by Adriana and explained every morning by host Lucca. Like nothing ever experienced anywhere before. Lucca helped us with local directions and maps and explained travel every day. He works so hard to make everything exceptional . Enjoyed having breakfast on back porch which has expansive panoramic views of valley below. Returning to watch sunset from same porch Such a comfortable place to be.
