Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RussiaI liked the hotel, friendly staff, fulfilled all requests. The rooms are cool, the batteries are cold in the morning, but this is the case everywhere in Italy. The water is also not hot enough, it needs to be passed for a long time. We left in a hurry and left the jewelry, called the hotel, told them and asked them to find it, we knew exactly where the two rings were, but the staff did not find anything, although we indicated the exact location. This overshadowed the whole vacation , two wedding rings remained at the hotel.

RomaniaPrices: But everything stops when we speak about prices. Everything is extremely expensive. 100€ / dinner. Drinks not included. Price per night (~260 euros) is far far away from the value offered. Wellness: Naked people around saunas all the time - disgusting. Wet sauna is smelling like mold. Outdoor pool not hot enough. You’re not very confortable swimming outside while cold weather. Jacuzzies are basically always full. Wellness closes at 19 (saunas) and 20 (pool/jacuzzi) - not enough time to enjoy after a ski day. Facility: Lift broken for at least 1,5 days. Extremely hard mattress, not for our taste, we could barely get some rest during the 5 nights we stayed. Nothing in the mini bar - you need to ask to be filled in. Food: The breakfast was really low quality. Old food, old meat, cakes, bread and cheese, reused from past days. 5 days and absolutely no change in the breakfast menu, the same food for EVER. You cannot eat EXACTLY the same things for 5 days in a row. And old food on top of this as mentioned. Dinner - some sort of fine dining (but quality food indeed), but extremely expensive and not having the posibility of "a la carte" ruins it all. Unfortunately due to this we had to eat 4 out of the 5 nights outside the hotel, at other restaurants. Location: Far away from Sellaronda. You need shuttle (available at the hotel) or a lot of ski lifts to reach on the most beautiful slopes in the region.
Clean and nice facilities. Good dinner but expensive. Nice staff (barman, receptionists and shuttle drivers)

HungaryOverall, we were disappointed with the care compared to previous years. The breakfast was not varied, the quality of the food was poor. Especially the sliced cheeses were dry. We reported this to the waiter, but nothing happened. We could have chosen the dinner menu, but there wasn't a large selection, it didn't suit us. The wellness center is only open until 19:00, which is too short time if you consider that you will be skiing until 17:00. By the time you get home, you'll change, and you'll hardly have time for wellness. Check-out is possible between 7:30 and 10:00. This is unusual as you usually have to leave the room at 11am. Unfortunately, we did not notice this when booking. At 9:50, when we had breakfast, the receptionist rudely instructed us to leave the hotel room within 20 minutes. We weren't fully packed yet and had to hurry. That's not how we counted time. Although the receptionist was right that we could only have been in the room until 10 am, he could have politely told us this the day before or when we went for breakfast. We left this hotel with a very bad taste in our mouths. We will choose another hotel next time.
This was our third time in this hotel. We liked the location, the rooms, the view and the indoor garage suitable for high vechicles. Unfortunately, we arrived at the hotel a day later due to heavy snowfall. We contacted the hotel via e-mail, which was not easy on the road, but we solved it and indicated that we would arrive later. Our room was ready at the time of our arrival.

GermanyThe price of wine and other drinks are expensive - from 30 Euro or so upwards for a bottle of wine. A glass of very basic (but tasty) wine costs ca. €5 or €6. Fizzy house water (probably from the tap, chilled and carbonated) €4.20 for a 75cl flask. We stayed clear of buying expensive drinks because - frankly speaking - the prices were above what we were prepared to pay. Probably did our livers good though :-) The only other little quibble is that the ventilation / extraction in the en suite loo was not that great - so "smells" took a while to go. A tin of air freshener would be a good addition to help keeping the air a little fresher...
Fantastic location with a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Well worth going half board with lovely food each evening, including an amazing salad bar. Each evening a new theme - Tirol Night, Sushi Night, Dessert Buffet night... Good variety. Beds extremely comfortable. A choice of using the sauna in-house (clothes on) or in sister hotel next door (clothes off, optional). Fitness equipment available - tread mill, x-trainer, bike and basic weight machines. Heated pool outside. Lots of sun beds and chairs outside. Plenty of towels and blankets on hand to use. Sauna open from 15h - 20h. One sauna super hot (>= 90C) and one just "warm".

United Arab EmiratesWe were ask upon arrival if we wanted to avail a promotion for the restaurant. If we committed right on the spot to eat there on all days of our stay we would get a 25% discount. The whole thing felt desperate and fishing for money. Also, there was no kettle, tea or coffee in the room. When we asked for glasses to drink a bottle of wine in the room to be close to our young kids we were told no drinks in the room…

Spacious and clean rooms on the top floor with great views towards the mountains. Very helpful and friendly recepcionist. Nice breakfast with bery good bread. Close to Col Raiser cable car and not too far from Ortisei (free buses).

BelgiumA scrambled egg at breakfast. But maybe I missed it by coincidence in that beautiful spacious breakfast resto. The rest was top!
Flexibility to ensure a successful stay as a guest: taking care of your luggage till creating the perfect cocktail you like in the outside Jacuzzi (and go for the extra mile, to personalize that). Apart from this, I liked most the warm, personal and professional atmosphere without all the Kafka. To summarize: 'welcome home!' feeling. Not a little thing: a professional sauna at your service!

NorwayWe had to pay extra for the water that was served during dinner, we did not know about this before we checked out, and it was way too expensive! The water is perfectly nice to drink from the tap, and it felt really unnecessary to pay that much for a bottle of water. Some of the staff was very strict on not allowing us to bring any food/drink from the breakfast to the room, which was inconvenient when we were in a rush, or just wanted to finish a cup of coffee in the room. There was also no kettle in the room. We read that they offered
OK Breakfast, if you would like eggs, you can ask the waiter and they will make eggs of your choice (i.e. scramble, omelet, fried). Great location, with the bus stop right outside the door. We had half pension and there was a great variety of different kinds of food for dinner, and sometimes also different themes, like local food from South Tyrol. The staff was nice and the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom wasn't that new, but very clean and worked very well for one that is normally very picky when it comes to hotel bathrooms. The pool and sauna area was great, and perfect to relax in after a day of hiking/biking in the mountains. However, they could preferably start the saunas a little earlier in the day, as they were first turned on in the early afternoon. We stayed for 5 days, and all in all a very pleasant stay, and could happily stay again. You could also rent bikes from the hotel, which was a very nice option for us one of the days, as the other rental shops did not have anything left for rent on short notice.

MaltaWe visited the hotel in the last week of July. The location is perfectly situated in the best mountain range of Italy. The stay was wonderful, the hotel is beautiful with any facility and comfort you could wish for. The staff and service are the best assets however with the hotel sparing no expense to make guests feel totally relaxed and comforted. The staff were incredibly helpful and did everything with a genuine smile to make our stay magical. Cannot wait to visit this top quality resort again in winter.

CyprusWhat have spoiled all good mood about the hotel - some of the persons on reception desk. First, upon arrival the gentlemen not even from reception, maybe the manager or even owner said that we are not allowed to bring our ski bag to the room. OK, I said - I will not take out the skies, I have a lot of belongings in ski bag, I will remove them and then put the skies to the ski room. I promised not to take out the skies in the room. But he was quite angry and said - no, you are not allowed. So, I had to open the ski bag at the reception and take out all ski wear and other staff. Upon checking-out, we went down to the reception at 11.00 sharp. OK, check-out time is 10.00 and we were late by one hour. It was just one hour! But the gentlemen at the reception started shouting on me, I am not joking, he was saying that I break the rules, the rules are created to follow them and people like me are the enemies of the world. Really, I was so shocked by this "life coaching". He said as I break the rules, I have to pay penalty of 50 EUR for one extra hour. Again, I have never seen such "hospitality" before at any hotels. Those 2 things spoiled the whole feeling about the hotel, which itself is quite good.
Perfect location and incredible spa, it was just perfect after the day on the slopes. Quite good breakfast.

Israeloverall, we were very disappointed by the all stay and how it is unlikely that we will return to your hotel and it's a pity because the potential of the hotel is fantastic in a nutshell few items :Front desk manager your main problem is first and mainly the staff and particularly your front desk that is very unwelcoming and unfriendly to say the least (particularly the desk manager the older one sorry can't remember is name) I'll give few examples: 1.1 my daughter made a completely unintentional and naive mistake of taking in the ski room ski sticks that were not hers (leaving her own sticks in that same room) 1.2 although the owner made a complain to the police (a foolish action by itself) it was the reaction of your staff that was the most infuriating 1.3 we received from your front desk manager a complete shaming unproportionable accusation shouting in the main lobby in front of all the clients (sentences like "we filmed everything on camera ....".) as if we were the last of the last common criminals. 1.4 not once were we greed with a smile or "hello" another example when I came the last day for the checkout I sat in front of the desk Instead of " hello sir how are you and how may I help you this morning " I was welcomed with a " wait 5 minutes !!! " And then when I received the bill for the extras I asked for a copy so I can go over it quietly I received the answer of "you can't receive a copy, take a picture with your phone " ?????? Again, this is only few examples of the unacceptable behavior of the desk manager. Waiters and waitresses Concerning the other member of your staff although they were verry friendly they were very unprofessional One exception was the waitress that was also in charge of us in the evening. Every time when we ordered something we never received our exact order at the first try, we ordered an omelet with cheese and receive
