A kettle would have been nice to make a cuppa tea or coffee.

Good location within the old walled town but easy to get in and out. We were very early and they allowed us to check in. Nice helpful staff who assisted in booked a taxi. For 20€ We used the garage to park the cars and had a key fob to get in and out when needed but parking was available close by also. Close enough to walk to everything and meander through the beautiful streets. Hotel room was spacious and good value. Close to Pisa airport, only 30 mins by toll road.

I asked for a twin room and was given a double. My messages had not been read. The bathroom could have been cleaner.

It was well located. The instructions were clear for check in. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great value.

The bathroom was rather sparse. It met the need but there was no real place to put any toiletries etc.

Adorable decor! Very comfortable beds, probably the comfiest we experienced during our time in Italy. Loved the location of the hotel as well. Highly recommend renting bikes for an hour or two and riding round the city medieval wall!

The location was perfect, close to the train station and to all the attractions. The staff were friendly and nice. The breakfast was amazing. We had a very good stay in Lucca, thanks to B&B Relais Inn.

It was a difficult place to find, even the GPS did a poor job of finding it. The pillows were heavy, hard and lumpy.

Location. A good starting point for walking the walls. The optional breakfast is very good with a large variety of foods. The staff was outstanding in their help. Eventually after struggling to find the hotel, a staff member came out and found me and my car and took me to the hotel’s garage.

The bathroom was a little tired but everything in it worked perfectly well.

We travelled by car, and even though the hotel was within the walls, there was paid on-street parking just nearby. Also the location was perfectly quiet, yet close to the restaurants and shops.

It was nice to find Hotel Relais Lucca in the old city.. Location was good for day trips to Sienna, Pisa, La Spezia Cinque Terre. The staff were very helpful..

The cleaning could have been a bit better. But overall a great place to stay for a couple of days.

Very nice and cozy B&B. We had the “suite” with 2 rooms and it worked out great. Very good information before arrival as we had to use a code to get into the B&B as we arrived late. Everything was as expected. Great location inside the old town close to everything. Very nice breakfast and very helpful staff.

Hard pillows - seems to be a thing in Italy. Something that did bother me was a couple and their toddler who arrived back late (11.45pm) and made so much noise they woke me up. I actually thought they were right outside my door, but they weren’t, there was a thin party wall between us. It went on and on for nearly half an hour. Not really the hotel’s fault - you can’t legislate against inconsiderate people, but maybe do something about insulating the wall?

The hotel is lovingly decorated, the staff were all absolutely fantastic - helped me out with a sticky issue I had. Nothing was a problem. Could not have felt more at home. And everything was spotless. I didn’t sign up for their breakfast, but it smelt good! Also, the restaurant next does amazing food - not your standard Italian fare….just wow!
