The infinit written and erase in the sky; the tranquil and peaceful Relais Chiostro di Pienza in the midth of the open earth of Val d’Orcia; a delicately-attended garden; a gazebo to enjoy the starry night; And the kind beautifull lady who is always smiling and helpful... All of these has left indelible sweet memory in my mind. My lady knew we would head to Siena from Pienza, she just kindly printed the bus route for our convenience. If I had the luck to visit Pienza once again, I will bring my family and choose to stay in the warm hotel again, for sure. I don't know whether or not the nice lady will work here any more, but I am looking forward to it ...

Everything just worked! Sounds like a funny compliment but as most international travelers know, that’s not always the case. Also the restaurant, while expensive, was worth the extra cost. And the breakfast buffet was really good.

Beautiful old historical building in the centre of Pienza. Location is perfect. View from our room over the Tuscan hills was spectacular. Good breakfast included in our room was a great start to each day. Definitely recommend!

The hotel must have been astonishing thirty years ago, but now it could use a bit of investment. Will not be a problem for customers looking in this price range, though, as it’s still great value.

An incredibly interesting and impressive building in the heart of Pienza’s historical center. Great, kind staff. Very big, comfortable room. Quiet and comfortable.

The room were the breakfast buffet was served was a very plain room, and the staff in the reception atea could have been more welcoming and engaging.

The breakfast buffet was very nice with most anything one expects normally at breakfast-eggs, delicious pastries, waffles, fresh fruit & more. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was a lovely experience. Unfortunately the wind was strong and we were unable to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view which is the main reason we made the reservation, but of course they could not help wind and we had a lovely table inside where I could at least look out. Our room had a lovely courtyard view with windows that looked out onto the cobblestone courtyard and our bed was the most comfortable of our entire vacation as it was kingsize and had great support.

Too much bleach & synthetic products or sprays used to clean the room. We both had massive headaches from this but we fixed it by keeping the window opened all night.

Breakfast was sensational, very relaxing and with a great selection of food. The view from our room was breathtaking.

The interior is ok having in mind the type of the building but just be aware that reality does not have that wow effect as pictures does. But would choose again, great value for money if you take breakfast.

The location, the big bedroom (we had a deluxe), the big bathroom, the stunning view from our window (we had room 208 and could see the sunset), the swimming pool, the very generous breakfast served in the garden, the relaxed atmosphere.

The Relais il Chiostro Di Pienza is a stunning, old building with charming character and amazing scenery. It is suited to couples but has a family feel too - such friendly staff. Peaceful and behind the scenes - everything runs like clockwork. We have visited since 2013 - we love Pienza and wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

I've opted out for a twin bed room, they gave us a double. At the end after telling them it's not ok for us they opened a sofa. The pool is closed during the evening

The hotel name plate by the gate at the corner is not easy to be found at the first time.

Everything is perfect. Especially the restaurant for the breakfast has a spectacular view of the valley. The hotel supplied many very useful information about parking before check in. We are very happy with our staying.

Breakfast was repetitive although beautiful view. Hotel restaurant was expensive for the quality. Hotel pool is small and sun-beds can get crowded.

STUNNING view from our room and bathroom. Wonderful old choistro with breathtakting restaurant for your breakfast and pool area as well. Situated in the middle of fantastic Pienza, but very quiet, as the rooms are facing the valley. There are lots of things to do in the amazing surroundings.
